Fansite Kit Vol.2
Fansite Kit Vol.1

Success released the 2nd Aoishiro Fansite Kit this week.
It contains images used during the countdown to the Aoishiro release.
All the images are transparent png.

Fansite Kit 1 contained the descriptions and images from the Character section of the website.
There’s also Aoishiro logos and an icon of Honma P.

There’s a link in the readme to a page where you can register your website or blog with Success if you use the images. (But they say even if you don’t register, it’s ok.)

The Wakasugi logo sort of looks like an upside-down Mos Burger logo.

This is a transcript of the last track which is the bonus track for the Akaiito Drama CD.
I think it’s the funniest part.
The narrator is Yumei.
In case you don’t know, Uduki is the swordwielding demon killer (onikiri) and Nozomi and Mikage are twin oni.

Yumei:	The bonus track from the Japanese version. Akaiito, Extra Theatre Ara? The djinn and the magic lamp. This is a tale about Senba Uduki, an onikiri of the Senba Group when she found an old lamp. In reality, this lamp was an actual magic lamp, but… What kind of tale will result?
Uduki:	There’s writing on this lamp. I wonder if the dirt will come off if I rub it.
Nozomi & Mikage	<evil laugh>
Uduki:	Senba Myouken-ryuu. Tama kezuri!
Nozomi & Mikage:	Ah! Wh…Why did you suddenly do that?
Uduki:	Well, what about you? What are you?
Nozomi	We came out after you rubbed the lamp. So of course, we’re the djinn of the lamp.
Mikage:	Nee-sama. Girls are referred to as djinni, not djinn.
Nozomi:	Shut up! Who cares about that? Anyways, that’s how it is.
Uduki:	I get that, but why are there two of you?
Mikage:	It’s because I didn’t get a chance to appear in the main drama.
Nozomi:	I appeared! And since Mikage’s an extra part of me…
Uduki:	So you’re a two person team?
Nozomi:	Guh!
Uduki:	Whatever. So you”ll grant me three wishes, right?
Mikage:	Correct. But you can’t wish for 100 more wishes or…
Nozomi:	Wish for anything we can’t do.
Uduki:	Hmph. So it has to be within the scope of your powers? What use is that?
Nozomi:	What are you saying!? With that we can surely do…
Uduki:	Well, that’s fine. I just thought of a good wish.
Nozomi:	Really? Well what is it?
Uduki:	I couldn’t get the hang of it when using it on a straw dummy, so I wanted to try it out on a spirit as an opponent.
Nozomi:	Eh?
Uduki:	These are my 3 wishes: Don’t run. Don’t make a fuss. Don’t resist.
Nozomi & Mikage:	Eh!?
Uduki:	Onmaka shirie jirubei sowaka! Senba Myouken-ryuu Ougi!
Yumei:	Like that, due to the magic lamp, Uduki was able to increase her experience points a bit. It’s only a little more until a level up.
Uduki:	Onikiri!
Nozomi & Mikage:	Yah!!
Yumei:	And everyone lived happily ever after.
Nozomi & Mikage:	That’s not true!

Wakasugi Tsudura
A girl living in Kei’s father’s family home
134 cm

Maybe because she comes from a family with a tradition of
“The weak are eaten by the strong”, though she is young, she’s
traveling by herself. Though she’s about half Kei’s age, she is
quite reliable.

Her companion is a white fox, Obana and they are currently living
in the empty home of Kei’s father.

A: Though she’s just a kid, she’s already a sly, old fox and is cool and businesslike

Scanned this for Dynasty who’re translating it.
Can’t comment on the story but the art is cute.
A nice, shoujo style IMHO.
I just liked how Nanaki’s sister goes moe when all of Nanaki’s classmates greet her.

Aoishiro is moving to the PC!
So for those without a PS2, this is your chance to see all the awesome CG and scenarios!
It’s great that Aoishiro has become popular enough to warrant a PC version.
Normally the conversion goes the other way from PC to PS2.
And since the PS2 versions of games must be an all-ages version, all ero CG are removed.
So since we’re going the other way, ero CG might be added???

Release Date: 11/21/2008
Price: 7140 yen (tax included)

The official site doesn’t have much info yet.
Let’s just hope the game isn’t hit by delays like the PS2 version…

Translation of the 4Gamer info

Aoishiro, a fantasy game for PS2 released on May 15, 2008 is being released by the same company for PC.
The release date is November 21, 2008 (Friday) and the price is 7140 yen (tax included). The target OS are Windows 2000/XP/Vista and will be 2 DVD-ROMs.

New Event Scene:


All the CG will be converted to high-res. It’s said that some pictures which were hard to release for the consumer version will be reworked and released as it was intended. The PC version will also have additional event scenes.

Retouched Event Scene:


Other changes will be to investigate the consistency between the many divergence routes and balance the number of appearances of the characters.
Compared to the PS2 version, the PC version will have increased story and visuals.

There will be 2 new stories that didn’t appear in the PS2 version:
“What happened in the days before the incident” and
“What happened behind the scenes during the incident”
Characters from the previous work Akaiito will also appear so…in the end what kind of story will develop?

In addition, pre-orders will include a CD with illustrations by Hal, wallpapers, system voices by the seiyuu and a new voice drama.

First up, Himegami Vol 2.
Alright! Hyou and Himeka and back for more adventures!
And this time, the Americans join the fray.

This volume has even more fighting and less talking so it’s faster to translate but there’s less cute moments.
However, the 10 pages in the extra chapter at the end more than make up for it.
You’ll have to wait and see why.

Next up we have GirlxGirlxBoy which has no supernatural elements at all.
It’s a high school love triangle story which of course means angst.
But it’s got funny moments too.

Some from the Illustration Collection and some from the PS2 game - Kakera Asobi.
They’ve probably been posted somewhere before but Higurashi is awesome so…

The book had a lot of fanservice pics.
I think Keiichi didn’t have a single solo pic and was only the focus in a couple of them… >__<

There was also a merchandise list at the end, one of which was Angel Mort cookies. I doubt they would’ve tasted good though. I ate some Death Note Apple Cookies before, and they were awful… I think all the money went to licensing, not flavor…

Finished scanning Himegami 2.
A chapter should be out next week.

Tried to look for some yuri manga at the local Kinokuniya, but they didn’t have any.
I counted 10 shelves dedicated to yaoi though. ^__^
It’s nice to see that genre flourishing.
Found the Higurashi Illustration Collection so it wasn’t a total loss.
