Chapter 6
Aoi: Aizawa-san, Osanai-san, it's about time to go.

Momoko: See you later, Zawacchi, Osa-sempai. Please bring back a gift. And also meat.

A little bit after lunch, after we'd finished preparations for the trip, Momoko gave us her meat farewell greeting and we got into sensei's car. The area around Unasaka is filled with twisting and turning slopes, but sensei's driving was unexpectedly smooth.
It was a little rude, but I was a little worried about sensei's driving since I'd never experienced it before. As she hummed a little song and turned the steering wheel right and left, we, in the backseat could see glimpses of the scenery from the rear-view mirrors.

Aoi: So, we're going to have meat tonight, right?

Syouko: If we remove meat from the menu, Momoko is going to complain loudly again.

Syouko: In order to have an impressive end to our vegetarian diet, how about stir-fired liver and chives?

It was a standard dish to provide the stamina to get through summer weather. It's a simple fried dish that is also rather simple to prepare. You can also mass produce it by using a pot and steaming it. The nutritional value can be increased by adding bean sprouts or other appropriate vegetables. You can add some color by adding green bell peppers and red bell peppers.

Aoi: Eh...liver is a little...

Syouko: As an adult you shouldn't be picky about what you like or dislike.

Aoi: I was just going to talk about what's fun and delicious to eat. I didn't say I diskliked liver and couldn't eat it.

The biggest problem is that the main dish would have two strong ingredients in it. Because my grandfather and I don't have many foods we don't like, we often ate it at our house but...

Yasumi: Since this is a summer training camp, let's make a menu that everyone can enjoy.

Yasumi, who was in charge of meals, said that.

Syouko: But regarding food, for every ten people, there's ten different things they like. It'd be impossible to meet everyone's demands.

Yasumi: That's true, but we should at least avoid food that cause allergies.

That's right, we were asked that question before the trip. Yasumi was probably matching that list in her head with what she could make.

Aoi: It's tough for the person in charge of planning.

Yasumi: I was friends with the cooks at the dorm and they had a hard time keeping up with everyone's requests. The dorm had buffet-style meals so if you increased the menu, you would also increase the use of materials that would cause allergies.
We don't have those problems in the kendo club, but there are many opinions about what people like and don't like though...

Thinking about the problem, there was a easy solution to take.

Yasumi: Meat dishes...meat dishes...

Though she said kept saying meat, there were beef, pork, chicken, which were the three main meat types, and also mutton. And the meat changes based on which part is used and the manufacturing process. Just finding a common meeting ground between them would cause a person to waver.

Aoi: Since we've come so far, how about we use as raw materials the local specialties?

Syouko: Will the budget be ok?

Aoi: We'll buy inexpensive items. A chicken pot stew using free range chicken (jidori) would be good, or black hog (kurobuta) would be good too.

Syouko: Momoko was talking about pork, pork, in the morning too. For her, if it's meat, it'll be good.

Yasumi: ...Un, let's go with black hog then. Urashima also raises cows, but this area is more known for its black hog.

Aoi: Heh...Aizawa-san sure knows a lot.

Yasumi: Eh? Ah, yes.

Yasumi, who was immersed in searching her brain for recipes, looked up at sensei's words. Through the mirror and the lens of the glasses, she met sensei's narrowed faze.

Aoi: Aizawa-san is pretty good to have noticed the cows on Urashima.

Yasumi: Ah, uh, I saw it in a guidebook when I was doing preparations for the trip...

Maybe it was because that sort of preliminary preparation was expected of a manager, but Yasumi cast her eyes down while sensei gave her a narrowed look.

Aoi: No, no, it's good to be diligent. The cows of Urashima have pure blood, so in the past they were known as Wagyu beef.

She confirmed that was true with Yasumi, and then explained to me, who was the only one who didn't know. When explaining like this, it's as if Aoi-sensei's work is her life calling.

Aoi: In the past, in the "Takashi Wajin history" it was written "at that place there were no cows, horses, tigers, leopards, sheep, and magpies".

I didn't want to go into much of a digression so I tried to end the topic in a timely manner, but...

Syouko: "Takashi Wajin history", you mean the one from Yamataikoko?
Aoi: The one I'm talking about is the Country of Na..."

Sensei was saying that in the nearby area of Unasaka there were also cows being raised. The remaining question is in the past, when did the island start raising cows? Sensei's theory was that the oni in the legend was from a foreign country brought cows over.

Aoi: The actual identity of the oni might have been a foreigner that drifted ashore. The Oni King might have been a foreigner too.
And at the end, the line about the oni turning into an ox, it could have just been the effect of the people here being surprised and unused to seeing the cows that the foreigners brought, which had horns.

It's said that people who saw horse riders for the first time saw them as a monster from the waist up too. In addition, tribes that had no contact with other civilizations, when they saw people who were wearing clothes for the first time, they thought 'that is a weird kind of skin'.
So in other words, the Onitaiji of Urashima might just've been that the locals defeated foreign invaders and took over their assets such as the cows they had been raising.
If you consider that, the storms and plague were just coincidence, then it became an ordinary story.

Aoi: But still, why were the oni considered as coming from a foreign country...

Sensei, who was talking as if wokred up in a fever, was interrupted not by circumstances, but by an impersonal electronic tone. Since she couldn't take her hands off the steering wheel, so looked at the drink holder where she had thrown her cell phone.

Aoi: Ah, excuse me, but could one of you answer the phone?

Syouko: Eh?

She didn't want to return the call after later, but wanted one of us to answer it. It seemed the call wasn't from someone who would be inappropriate for a student to talk to. Perhaps it was a call regarding work which she couldn't escape from.
Well, I didn't mind answer the phone but...compared to a brash person like me, Yasumi was a better choice to answer it. As if she had telepathy, Yasumi gave me a fleeting glance and looked to see that I hadn't moved from my seat and...

Yasumi: Then, if you'll excuse me...

She stretched out her hand towards the cell phone, which was in the space between the driver's and passenger's seat.

Yasumi: Nn...

It'd have helped if her arms were longer but her reach was a little short and she tried to press forward to reach the remaining distance.

Yasumi: Nn...

Compared to the seat, Yasumi's body was softer, so as she stretched, the shape of the seat changed. When she emitted a painful moan, I thought it'd be better if I just answered the call. But I also thought that going over Yasumi's head and snatching away what she was going after would be a terrible thing to do. The ringtone brought about a strain to answer, even though it wasn't even my own phone. Sensei didn't pay attention and continued holding the steering wheel...
Sensei was acting like a third party and I started to move...when finally Yasumi retrieved the phone and held it to her chest in relief. She stopped the ringtone on the unfamiliar phone.

Yasumi: Hello? Umm...this is...Aoi

Young woman's voice: ...your voice has gotten much cuter. Is it because of summer, or the passing of spring?

The joking voice made Yasumi blush. I didn't know if it was because of good reception or if it was that the speaker had a voice that carried, but sitting in the next seat, I could clearly hear what was said. Though it was a young voice, by the way of speaking, it was hard to estimate the age of the speaker. But to talk to sensei that way, I guessed that it was someone who was the same age as sensei or someone older.

Yasumi: Ah, I'm sorry. I'm not Aoi-sensei. I'm one of her students, Aizawa Yasumi, nice to meet you!

Though it wasn't her fault, Yasumi was bowing her head to someone who couldn't see it as she gave out her name and relationship to sensei.

But it would be strange to be angry at someone who just answered sensei's phone.

Young woman's voice: Ah...so that's it.

The person who answered might've been joking too much about Yasumi's apology too.

Young woman's voice: Is Aoi Hanako-sensei nearby?

Yasumi: Yes, she's currently driving.

While Yasumi was explaining the situation, I leaned forward to ask sensei a question.

Syouko: Wouldn't it be better to return the call later?

Aoi: Ah, that's ok. She'll wait for us to talk.

Stopping the car seemed like a good idea. She headed towards the side of the road. It seemed like a careless way of doing things. The person on the other side of the phone could hear this too, but if she were ok with it.
So Yasumi...please hold out for a littel longer.
Note: From the Comic Rush manga, the person Aoi was talking to appears to be Sakuya from Akaiito.

Syouko: Nn...

After stopping the car, sensei stepped out. Yasumi and I stepped out also. We stretched and sucked in the outside air.
In contrast to the air conditioning in the car, the outside air was like summer with its temperature and the sunlight. However, with the high sky and wide ocean, that scenery was more appropriate. Though we were on the coastland roads, the sea breeze rifled through our hair.

Aoi: Sorry to keep you waiting. It's Aoi.

Young woman's voice: It's been a while. It's me.

Young woman's voice: I heard that starting from spring, you were going to be a teacher. Is it going well?

Aoi: Of course it is.

Aoi: My charisma is quite impressive. I was quickly scouted to be an advisor.

Young woman's voice: Was it for the literature or history club?

Aoi: The correct answer is the kendo club.

Young woman's voice: Buh! ...hey, now, this isn't something to laugh about. Are you and not your father, an expert in swordsmanship? That's like using a shrimp to catch a whale.

Aoi: That's a mean thing to say... It's true that this training camp is also due my father's introduction though.

Aoi: Do you remember? At the last seminar, I was talking about the legend of Onigashima?

Young woman's voice: You mean Urashima in Unasaka?

Aoi: Yes, I'm at the Shoushinji temple.

Young woman's voice: Oya, oya, what a coincidence. Because of a job, I'll be in the area too.

Aoi: How close will you be?

Young woman's voice: By car, it'll be about an hour away.

Aoi: Then how about coming by the temple tonight. The monk also likes sake, so let's drink a cup together.

Young woman's voice: Ah...it's too bad but I have to leave before sunset or I won't make another appointment.

Yasumi: Syouko-sempai...

We were standing a little away from sensei. Yasumi called my name in a low voice and tugged on my sleeve.

Syouko: Mmm?

Yasumi: About the situation, if it's before sunset it'll be ok, right?

Syouko: That seems right.

Yasumi: How about sensei drops us off and she can go meet her friend?

Though they didn't make arrangements beforehand, friends who hadn't seen each other in a while were within meeting distance of each other. There's no telling how people are brought together.

Syouko: Are you ok with that, Yasumi?

Yasumi: Yes.

Akiko-san was careful about relationships made while travelling. If I could, I was inclined to go along with that idea. Though it wasn't a new meeting, it was still a relationship made during travelling.

Syouko: Sensei, we can take care of the shopping so why don't you go?

Aoi: Eh? Osanai-san, what was that?

Sensei told the other person to wait a minute and she moved the cell phone away from her ear.

Syouko: This seems to be a rare chance, so why don't you go meet her?

Aoi: I can't do that. Besides, without the car, how are you two going to bring the groceries back?

We were only planning on buying enough to last for tomorrow's three meals, but it was for the whole team so it was a large amount.
And also the list included snacks and miscellaneous other goods so bringing everything back to Shoushinji without a car would be difficult.

Syouko: Well...we could take a taxi if need be.

Aoi: Un...

Sensei seemed to be judging whether we would be alright by ourselves. She was wavering between that and her duty as a teacher to her students.

Young woman's voice: Hello..., what's going on?

At that critical point, the balance was swung to that side by that voice.

Aoi: Then, is it ok to leave the rest to you two?

Yasumi smiled at that.

Yasumi: It'll be fun.

That smile really looked like Yasumi was anticipating a good time.

Syouko: They've got almost everything we need here.

We were dropped off in downtown Unasaka and the first place we went to was what seemed to be the biggest supermarket. It wasn't simply the closest place, but it also stood out. We went in to see what they had...

Yasumi: This place is not to be taken lightly. It has quite a bit of stuff. The price is pretty good too.

It had good prices and a large amount of stuff. The prices would make private management weep. Consumers are always looking for cheaper places.

Syouko: Then, let's use this store while we're staying here. There's also merit in being to buy everything in one place.

Yasumi: The weather is hot here so it'd be troublesome to go from store to store too.

We drifted around the store. The pleasantly cool air caused me to close my eyes. The biggest merit about this place might be that I don't have to leave the air-conditioned interior until we're done.

Syouko: But still, it's pretty hot around here. Maybe we should buy some ice packs to keep the groceries that need to be refrigerated, cool.

Yasumi: But if we do that, it'll add to the weight.

Well since we can't exchange the stomach for the back, it can't be helped. The meat needs to be refrigerated, and though I've heard that spoiled meat tastes the best, if it really did spoil, it'd be a bad thing. If that happened, only someone who really liked meat, and I can think of one person, would eat it, but we should avoid dangerous things like that. And also, if we ate that, before that meat became a part of our bodies, we would have added muscles, so it's like meat becoming meat.

Yasumi: Syouko-sempai, I think I should carry a little more...

Syouko: I'm fine, you just hold that bulky stuff over there.

The snacks on the list had a lot of volume, but didn't weight very much and they were stuffed into our grocery bag.

Syouko: Using the bus and then walking the rest of way would reduce the travel expenses, but...

No matter what path we took we would have to climb up the long stairs so walking from the bus stop to Shoushinji would just be in addition to that, but...

Syouko: Considering the heat and the weight of the luggage, it'd be easier to just call a taxi. Yasumi, you don't like to be tired, right?

Yasumi: Well, I'm not opposed to being tired...but I don't like being tired.

That answer was as expected.

Syouko: Ok, I'll call a taxi so you wait inside.

Yasumi: Syouko-sempai, wait a minute!

Yasumi: Um...

It seemed like she had something difficult to say and looked up at me.

Yasumi: We have cooling packs so I think the food can last for a while.

Syouko: What?

Yasumi: There's enough money to return by taxi, but I was thinking we could rest a bit and gather up energy and then return by bus...

So that's what it was.

Syouko: Was there someplace you wanted to go?

Yasumi: Not really, there wasn't a specific place...

She didn't have a clear destination in mind, she wanted to just rest a bit. Now...what should I do.

Yasumi: I don't mind paying for it with my own money...

Yasumi: Well, if you don't want to...

While I was thinking, Yasumi became proportionally more passive...

Syouko: .....

Geez, what to do.

Syouko: It's not that I'm opposed to it. It's just...

I didn't want my thoughts to come up in a jumble so I stopped in the middle.

Syouko: It's just that...I'm sure how to act since this is between the captain of a club and a member...

I tried to remember what the previous captain would do.

Syouko: ...Wah, I can't use her as a reference.

Yasumi: Eh!?

Though she was a person with a lot of charisma, instead of being a person to model my behavior after, she was more like a bad example that I should not follow.

Syouko: ...There's no helping it.

Of course it was reckless to follow Asuna-sempai's example, but I was also aware that I should be softer and more approachable.

Syouko: Well, if it's just for a cup of tea, I think it's fine.

Bringing back groceries was a task to complete, but it was also free time now and I could tolerate a short rest.

And also...I should give some sort of compensation to Yasumi who was working as a manager until so late in the day. I think I could've used part of the money we saved to pay for it, but I decided I'd use my own money to pay...
We started looking for a store, but...

Yasumi: It doesn't seem like there's a convenient store to enter...

We couldn't find one.

We were unfamiliar with the area and also carrying groceries that would be hard for a housewife to handle, so it felt awkward to enter a fashionable cafe. If any place would do, we did pass a lot of places that would qualify, but they looked expensive. There were places that were cheaper but...since we came all the way to Unasaka...I sympathized with Yasumi so I asked...

Syouko: How about going to Hakkin Beef? *

Yasumi: I'm fine with any place...as long as it's not weird.

She really did seem fine with any place.
Syouko: Sorry about this. In the end, we ended up in Hakku.

Hakku stood for Hakkin Beef Hamburger. There was a commerical song called "Of course it's in my city and it might be in your city too" and it was a national fast food chain. Because it was a national chain, the display was not much different from the one near Seijou. We also knew the prices and it was lower than the other places we passed by.

Cashier: Welcome, have you decided what to order?

Since it was the afternoon during the summer, this type of place was rather crowded at this time. We secured a seat in the corner where our luggage wouldn't be in the way.

Syouko: They have a limited summer menu, right?

Yasumi: Yes?

Syouko: Huh? They don't have those in the local area?

There is a limited item in the summer called a Polar Bear.
It sucks in the atmosphere. It has a ton of condensed milk mixed with shaved ice and gives an image like its name. It's also big and overflowing with fruit on top.

Yasumi: It's not only a limited item for summer but it's also limited to this area, though it's not limited to any one store.

As expected of Yasumi, she'd researched this in her guide book. It was a characteristic of Hakku to have limited menus for certain areas and stores. I've heard there were also some people who liked to try all the limited items in all the stores spread over the country.

Syouko: So each store has a different set of items. I thought it was common to have uniformity among the stores so it shouldn't be a mistake but...

Yasumi: I liked eating the Polar Bear.

Syouko: Heh...

Yasumi: But it could be too large...

Normally only foreign chains have buns and patties that were large but this one was also larger than normal.

Syouko: Then, how about we share?

Yasumi: Wah...eh...yes...then...

Yasumi and I ordered one Polar Bear and brought the tray back to our seats.
For the one order we had two spoons. I didn't want to be rude so I was thinking we could take turns eating...but it was a little embarrassing.
Yasumi's face was also red and she was looking down. The sweet, cool ice looked good though.

So the two of us...
While we were eating, we talked about the club and other mindless chatter. I didn't know whether it was because of the trip or because of the person but for some reason, today, we couldn't come up with much topics to talk about.

Syouko: Nn?

The sound of a cellphone stopped us.

Yasumi: Ah, it's mine.

She rummaged through the bags to find her cellphone and stopped the ringtone and put the phone to her ear. There was a 80 or 90 percent chance that it was Momoko. Otherwise, it might be sensei who wanted to ask about our situation or a team member who wanted to add something to the list to buy.

Yasumi: Hello? Momo-chan?

Well, I did guess that there was an above 80 percent chance that is was Momoko.

Momoko: Zawacchi, are you done shopping?

Yasumi: Eh...

Yasumi looked at me. She hadn't put the phone to her ear on purpose and looked at me for the best answer. If we answered that we weren't done yet, then Momoko might ask to add something to the list to buy. If we answered that we were done, we might be asked to return to Shoushinji. That would be...a little regrettable, so I prepared myself to add something to the list.

Syouko: It might take a little longer.

I answered like that.

Yasumi: Ah...

Yasumi might have been feeling the same way because she gave me an awkward smile and put the answer into her own words.
Yasumi: We might be here...a little while longer.

Momoko: He...Ho...Fuun... I seem to hear the Hakku theme song over the phone?

Yasumi: We're near the store.

That probably didn't fool her, but she didn't say anything. Instead, Momoko asked...to add an item to the list of things to buy. But it wasn't for herself but for another team member.

Momoko: By the way, Osa-sempai, did you bring a swimsuit?

It didn't matter that it was a training camp. Besides Yasumi and me, everyone else brought one, including Aoi-sensei. However, Momoko thought that as team captain, I needed to join in too.

So in this situation, I would have to buy a swimsuit. Well, it was time to change the one at home and it was a far away training camp and I had enough money, so I could get a new one.

Yasumi: Ano...

Syouko: Yes?

Function was more important than appearance. As I was comparing the materials and seams with my eye, Yasumi tugged at my sleeve. Yasumi being Yasumi, she should've been looking for her own swimsuit but...

Yasumi: Momoko's orders were that sempai should choose from among these...

Syouko: What do you mean these?

Yasumi: The ones here...

I don't know when, but a mail with an attachment had been sent.

Syouko: .....

Ah...the reason she didn't continue was this. That Momoko! She was telling me to wear a swimsuit like that. I clenched my molars and blew out a breath, then read the text of the mail.

Syouko: ...P.S. If sempai is against it, then please buy it in secret. The cost will be paid by us volunteer symphathizers, so please pay for another one.

If she wrote 'us' then it seemed like more than one person.

Syouko: Geez...she's got some nerve.

To go so far as to use her own money, what fun was there in making someone wear a swimsuit?

Syouko: .....

I had the feeling that the chosen swimsuit could be for a batsu game? (punishment game)

Yasumi: Ah...but...

Syouko: Yes?

Yasumi: I...I want to see it too!

Syouko: Eh?

Aizawa Yasumi. You too?
But looking at her blushing, earnest face, I didn't think was trying to make a joke...

Yasumi: Sempai has good style, so I'm sure it'll look cool!

Syouko: .....
Her look expressed that she really thought it would look good, and it wasn't a lie.
I see...it would look good...
Because of everyday practice I didn't have any extra flesh on me and I admitted it was a good-looking body.

...I'm in trouble.

As if Yasumi's blush was contagious, my face, cheeks, and earlobes heated up.

Syouko: I guess there's no helping it.

Yasumi: Wai...

She gave a cheer.

Syouko: But, does it really suit me?

It should fit since it's a swimsuit, but feeling the wind on my bare skin, I lost some confidence.

Yasumi: That's not the case at all. It suits you!

Syouko: Alright. I've already tried it on, so let's go with this.

Since I knew she really meant it, I didn't feel bad about hearing it. I'd finally conquered my embarassment.

Syouko: But Yasumi, I've tried this on, but don't you have to find a suitable one for yourself?

Momoko: Eh? Not for Momo-chan, but one for me?

Syouko: It's about joint responsibility.

If Yasumi weren't here, I'd have definitely picked a different one.
The reason I bought this swimsuit was...

Syouko: Geez...

Yasumi: Th...then...

Syouko: Nn?

Yasumi: Could Syouko-sempai pick one out for me?

Syouko: Eh? Me?

Hearing my question, she nodded.

Syouko: I'm not confident in my ability to choose clothes though.

Yasumi: Is that so?

When I was given clothes or received them as gifts, I didn't mind and just wore them.

Syouko: Like the shirts I normally wear, I have a weird fashion sense.

Yasumi: Like your "Umi Budou" shirt (Note: could mean Ocean Martial Arts)

Yasumi: .....

She looked like she was considering what were the right words. Yasumi, who was quiet for a while, gave a vague smile.

Yasumi: I don't think the uniform you're wearing right now is that weird.

Syouko: Thanks...

I wasn't wearing a uniform, so Yasumi's eyes were also a little questionable. I was going to give her another warning, but in the end I picked one out.
I looked at the many swimsuits of different colors and designs for one that would suit Yasumi.
I don't think I dressed up dolls when I was young, sort of like I was doing now...
A weird swimsuit would also be ok, but...picking a good-looking swimsuit for a cute girl was a bit fun.

Syouko: Ok...something like this would look nice...

Syouko: The frills on the chest are not too much, so don't you think it's cute?
The swimsuit I picked out was pink with frills. It had a flower pattern and I was worried it might be too girly. But that girlyness suited Yasumi, who tried it on. The frills were cute too, but that might've been due to the daring cut that showed her chest.

Syouko: Um...it looks good, right?

Yasumi nodded and smiled.

Yasumi: The size is right. I think it's good too.

Yasumi: But...the rear is a little embarrassing...

While smiling, she covered the problem area with both her palms, covering the boundary between her skin and the fabric.

Syouko: Nn...that's true.

The waist area's fabric was low and the rear area had fabric too. It wasn't as much exposure as Yasumi had said. I was more worried about the design which pressed to the side and showed her legs. But compared to the one I was made to buy, this was a modest design.

Syouko: I think it's a normal design.

I took 2 or 3 steps back so I could see all of Yasumi at once. I scrutinized her carefully in a slightly embarrassing way.

Syouko: Compared to the top, the bottom is simple, yes?

With her long, flowing hair, the frills on her chest matched nicely. The top half might have too much volume though.

Syouko: ...It'd be nice if the bottom had frills too.

Yasumi: Then let's look for one like that.

She looked a little crestfallen.

Syouko: Ah, wait...

I thought I could solve the problem with the rear area that Yasumi was bothered about.

Syouko: Found it.

Syouko: Yasumi, doesn't this color match nicely?

Yasumi: Ah.

In the end, we found one candidate besides the first one we found. It had frills and a flower design and matched nicely.
In addition to me, Yasumi also seemed to like it, so I wasn't forcing a weird sense on her.

Yasumi: Then, let's go with this one.

Syouko: It suits you.

Yasumi: Ehehe...

I thought I could praise her a little more, but for me, that was as much as I could do. But praising her didn't make me feel bad, and at Yasumi's embarrassed smile, my own cheeks also warmed...
At that time...

Syouko and Yasumi: Ah...

I felt a strange feeling.
It was not someone watching from the outside, but came from inside me. It was something weird I didn't understand...

Syouko: What...

Yasumi: What...is...this...

Following my whisper was Yasumi's voice. Yasumi's skin which was just a moment before, as pink as sakura blossoms, was now as white as frost. She couldn't seem to support her weight as her knees folded. Her feet tried in vain to hold her up.

Syouko: Yasumi!?

This is a crisis...hair...

I held Yasumi who had collapsed.
The body I was holding was soft and cold.
Her body shivered as if it were trying to get rid of a fever, but that it was hard to do so, and finally, that stopped too.

Yasumi: If it's just this, I'm fine...
Syouko: That's not fine at all. Anyways, you can't do anything in that outfit, so let's change out of those first.

Yasumi: Ah...if it's changing...I can do it myself...

She wasn't fine at all.

Syouko: If this changing room had tatami mats , I might've let you do that.

I was uneasy about letting her stand and change on her own. I entered the changing room and helped her change, then took care of both our bills and called a taxi.

Syouko: Sorry, but could you hurry to Shoushinji please! And also, is it ok to use my cell phone?

Taxi Driver: Yes, to Shoushinji. Feel free to use your phone.

After receiving permission, I used the address book on my cell phone.

Searching the address book...
Searching groups...
Seijou Academy Kendo Team...
The group was ordered by syllables. Excluding Aizawa Yasumi, and who was here, and Aoi Hanako, who probably hadn't returned yet, the first name on the list was Akita Momoko.

Syouko: Hello, Momoko!?

Momoko: Hi, Osa-sempai. What's up? Did you buy a cool swimsuit?

Syouko: I bought the swimsuit. But Yasumi is in a bad state.

Momoko: Zawacchi is?

Yasumi: Ok...
