Oh yah, I wanted to mention that this release was inspired by reading Saki fanfiction about Hisa/Mihoko,
particularly Falter by Arwyn.

So thanks to Yuribou telling me about the Etopen plush, I did search for it and find him.
However, he was bigger than I expected. Maybe 12 inches (30 cm) in diameter?
I did try holding him while typing at the keyboard but it seems I’m no Haramura Nodoka,
so he’ll probably need a new home in the future.
In the meantime, he can just live in the little cardboard box he came in.
Anyways just ignore that lame joke…

Hakka-ya is my favorite Saki circle so far.
And not just because they draw Hisa/Mihoko though that doesn’t hurt. =)
They’ve actually released two new Hisa/Mihoko doujin.
One is “Will You Marry Me 2″ and the other is “Private Talk” (for sale Feb 7.) though I can’t find them for sale at the usual suspects like Toranoana, Melonbooks, so if anyone knows, let me know.

This is what might have happened if Mihoko attended Kiyosuumi.
There’s also some funny scenarios about how someone like Mihoko would have ended up here.
But I guess everything turned out all right in the end.

I loved these doujins, the art style is so cute, and content is too one of my fav pair from Saki.
Big thanks for scanlating these two doujins!

I suppose a girl needs enormous Nodoka’s assets to enjoy her Etopen sitting time
Or it would be Etopen who would be enjoying…nvm.

Hey shijima,

If I come across the two new books in Toranoana or another doujin store I’ll let you know! There’s another Hakka-ya book that got released around the same time as the previous two that you’ve done I think - unless it’s an old one that’s been mismarked.

It’s a Mihoko/Hisa book called “Nandomo Nandodemo” or something - I’d have to go back home to check

Ah, hehe, yah, Etopen is the one having a good time I guess.
I think MakiMaki scanlated a doujin (Two Moons) that talked about this from Etopen’s point of view

Ah, I have that other one from C77 too, thanks for the reminder.
I actually managed to pick up the latest Hakka-ya ones from K-books,
but they were horrendously expensive, I’m talking like 2100 for a doujin… >__<
I think I should just save up money for another trip to Japan. :p

Sorry to bother after a few months have already passed, but I just discovered your Mihoko x Hisa scanlations today and they are really amazingly cute. However, I was somewhat curious about the ‘guest work’ that seems to be mentioned in the author’s comments for these two stories–5 page shorts by one ‘Kuma Jet’? The author seemed really enthusiastic about them although I couldn’t discern any difference in the artwork of the stories included–am I right in presuming they were seperate pieces not included with this release? If so, I am curious to know what this or their other BuCap works are like.

Hmm? I’m not sure but I guess they’re a separate story?
I’ve definitely seen some other BuCap stories but out by other circles though,
such as Yamaneko BOX and Parukusa (author of the PV series).
I have some of those so they should be released eventually. =)

Ah! Sorry, I made a mistake. I saw some of Kuma Jet’s artwork over at Danbooru and I realized that their stories were actually the [i]first[/i] stories in the two doujins. I thought the artwork as a little different, but I didn’t make the connection because it was before the author’s comments.

Anyway, I’m very much looking forward to those other BuCap stories you mentioned. Thank you so much for your work in bringing us more of this pairing.
