    i love it, keep up the great WORK!~. can u downlaod\translate akiito?!. anyways love it (^-^)./
  2. shijimaon June 21st 2008 12:38 am
    Are you talking about the PS2 game Akaiito?

    If so, there’s a text translation of the game from ZoharContact at:
    http://digitalmedia.arts.ufl.edu/~kmcgo/Akaiito/

    Apparently the game also runs on the PS2 emulator PCSX2 (though I haven’t tried)

    I’m not sure of the encoding for text used for Akaiito. It’s not the same as Aoishiro though I think it’s similar.
  3. Sharannaon July 5th 2008 6:55 am
    I have seen some exerps of Akaiito and AoiShiro :D
    The storyline is different, but they have the same basic Idea. The Layout of the textfields also seem similar –> there are only slight differences ^^

    I only have read the translation of AoiShiro - the one of Akaiito is rather slow in translating but I keep hoping, that she’s/he’s doing well and translate more soon :D
  4. Lirinon August 2nd 2008 11:56 am
    Thanks so much for translating some yuri — there’s so little out there! And good luck getting better at Japanese~
  5. shijimaon August 3rd 2008 10:42 pm
    Sure, no problem.
    Yah, I have a hard time finding yuri doujin especially.
    Thanks, I’ll try to work harder at my Japanese.
    Must stay awake when looking at workbooks… :p
  6. marioon August 7th 2008 5:50 am
    Hi and how are u?

    I have a suggstion for you, why don’t you try to translate Hayate X Cross Blade (manga).

    I have all the volumes of the manga, and I can sent it to yur email if you are willing to do it.

    Just email me.

    GOOD LUCK WITH EMPROVING YOUR JAPANES LANGUAGE AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK :)
  7. shijimaon August 7th 2008 6:14 am
    Hi, I’m fine. How are you?
    I think Hayate x Blade is licensed so I think I’ll have to pass on that. :p
    I have most of the volumes and all the Drama CDs and I agree it’s hilarious though. :D
  8. T1on August 8th 2008 3:18 am
    YepYep, Hayate is licensed by SevenSeas and the first volume of Hayate will out in…October or November…can’t clearly remember it but it’s one of those months.
    BUT I agree Hayate is great…

    Anyways…lots of thanks and keep up the great work. It seems to me that you got a nice taste when it comes to choosing titles. Not every yuri manga out there is cough*great*cough….ouch stop with those stones, I’ll take it back so stop throwing stones especially the sharp ones…so we can’t have you stopping, can we? XD

    Oh, about yuri doujins or mangas you can’t find, try looking her fserver or asking Rosa_Chinensis in #lililicious on rizon, nice chick who collects yuri like crazy:p
    PS: Don’t tell her that, I told you, she was crazy, dun wanna die yet T_T

    If that still doesn’t help, try asking on the blog and ppl may help you find it ;) afterall who doesnt love yuri? *hint*hint*Imayhelpyoutoo*hint*hint*
    (Damn! Why do I keep making these long posts,WRYYY? <.<)
  9. shijimaon August 8th 2008 7:15 am
    Yah, I think the Hayate x Blade Drama CDs have been getting better and better.
    I wasn’t too fond of the first one, but the 3rd one is great.

    No, I agree with you that there’s some bad, bad yuri manga out there. I’m wondering what to do with the ones I bought… Hehe, don’t worry, I’m a pacifist. I won’t throw any stones.

    I’m trying to get my hands on Aoishiro doujin so if I don’t manage to after this Comiket, I’ll definitely ask for help. :D
  10. Kielion August 8th 2008 10:15 pm
    Actually, the mini-cd was the best out of all of the Drama CDs IMHO. Vol 1 was grand, 2 had its moments but the cast was getting scary huge and I’ve only just started Vol 3 but, thus far, it’s completely nuts. Crazy!
  11. shijimaon August 9th 2008 12:46 am
    Oh yah, forgot about the mini-cd.
    Yes, that one was funny.
    Actually I haven’t finished Vol 3 either but Track 2 was pretty hilarious. :D
    Poor Mizuchi-san…
  12. pinguon August 30th 2008 3:27 pm
    Well done and thank you for all your translated material. I’m looking forward to more releases from you.

    Quick question, are you going to Japanese classes or self learning?
  13. shijimaon August 30th 2008 11:54 pm
    Hehe, thx. I’ll try to keep a regular release schedule.
    I’m not taking classes anymore, just studying on my own (though motivation is lacking :p)
    Btw, I really like Pingu, especially the baby one. It’s adorable.
  14. pinguon September 5th 2008 2:45 am
    Thanks… shame I’m not one of the adorable babies :*(

    I know what you mean about the lack of motivation. I’m trying to learn myself and am finding it difficult to know where to start. I’ve learned the Katakana and Hiragana but don’t know where to go from there… any pointers?

    I think you’re very talented in translating and editing all the mangas you’ve released (and may I say very quickly too!)…..you’re my idol!!!!

    Gambate!!! I’m sure hoping two years drag on…:p
  15. shijimaon September 5th 2008 8:19 am
    Hehe, well, I’m too old to be considered cute myself. :p
    Have you checked out JapanesePod101?
    http://www.japanesepod101.com/
    You didn’t used to need to sign up but I think it’s still free audio lessons only
    You have to pay if you want the transcript. It’s good listening practice since they use native speakers.

    Dunno if you have a nearby college with Japanese classes?
    I think that’s probably the best way to start.
    If they don’t have them at your local college, my college (and I’m sure many others) offered intensive Japanese over the summer. 10 “fun-filled” weeks of lessons 3 hours a day, 5 days a week.
    Expensive, but worth it.
    Otherwise, I suppose there’s bilingual manga other there (Doraemon, etc).

    My co-worker still supports the theory that the best way is to have a Japanese girlfriend/boyfriend.
    Well…he did have a Japanese girlfriend and he IS the best person at Japanese I know of, so maybe there’s some credence to his theory. :D
  16. pingu8on September 5th 2008 11:35 am
    Thanks for the detailed info.

    I tried Japanesepod101 but as you rightly pointed out it’s only the audios are free. I’m too shy to be speaking the lingo I just really want to read and write Japanese… speaking isn’t of interest to me… for listening I watch alot of Japanese anime.

    As for boyfriend/girlfriend… too late for that… plus my bro is married to a Japanese and she doesn’t help him one incy wincy bit. I think your colleague is one of the lucky ones. :D
  17. shijimaon September 6th 2008 12:55 am
    Sure, np. Hmm…I guess taking classes and reading books then?
    Hehe, I’ll let my co-worker know how lucky he is.
    Let me know how your studies are going. :)
  18. Faitoon September 8th 2008 4:45 pm
    Hail,

    I’ve tried to send you a mail, but looks like it doesn’t work. Do you have a working mail ?

    Maybe, I can help you with editing.

    Faito
  19. shijimaon September 9th 2008 12:49 am
    Apologies, I’m not sure what happened to the mail you’ve sent me.
    I’ve sent you an email, let me know if you don’t receive it.
    Thank you for the offer of help!
  20. NSF100on September 25th 2008 10:37 pm
    hey there ^^ thanks alot for your hard work i really liked the demo of Aoi Shiro soo i went and bought the game from play-asia but couldn’t read a thing lol soo i was wonder if you can start another project for translating this game i think Akai Ito already been translated soo far i’ve only seen two endings of the game but it’s really good :)
  21. shijimaon September 25th 2008 11:10 pm
    Hi. Glad you liked the demo.
    It really takes dedication to buy the game when you can’t read it. :)
    I’m holding off on translation until the PC version comes out.
    I want to see if it’s possible to edit that one (like the demo).
    Though judging by how the rate at which I did the demo, it’d take 2 years to finish.
    Not sure people want to wait that long… -__-
    Also, the person who did the Akaiito translation did mention that they might be interested in doing a Aoishiro translation eventually.
  22. Y3Non September 27th 2008 12:29 am
    I really admire you, shijima ^^ I’m trying to learn japanese thru self-study (living language text and dics) and the only thing that is familiar to me is kanji ^^;
  23. shijimaon September 27th 2008 6:30 am
    Nah…I’ve become very lazy when it comes to studying.
    I admire you for learning on your own. That takes dedication.
    Knowing kanji already really helps!
    Let me know if you need anything.
  24. Pinguon October 2nd 2008 11:09 am
    @Y3n, I’m also self studying the Japanese language. So are you of Chinese origin? It’s just you say that Kanji is already familiar to you… I know some Chinese so tend to read the Kanji first in cantonese… so annoying.

    @Shijima and Ren, thank you for your continued releases. Very much appreciated and it helps me with my studies (relaxing part anyway :p)
  25. shijimaon October 3rd 2008 12:40 am
    Hehe, cool, as long as I’m not distracting you from your studies. =)
  26. Y3Non October 3rd 2008 11:09 am
    Pingu, ya but I’m not really good in chinese either and I tend to read kanji in mandarin too!
  27. Hazukion December 30th 2008 4:04 am
    Nice quote there Shijima. :)
    Thanks for the link.
  28. shijimaon December 31st 2008 2:28 am
    Ah, sure, np. I’m glad it was in Aoishiro.
  29. chocominton January 10th 2009 6:15 pm
    shijima,
    thanks for translating lots and lots of yuri.. this place is heaven!
    I really want to learn how to translate! and I want to help you. But it seems to me that you’re doing this on your own to learn more about Jap right?..So, I’ll just enjoy the mangas you translate. ahaha! but if you need anything, like cleaning..?(I don’t even know that..hahaha) maybe you can teach me so I can help. :D
  30. shijimaon January 11th 2009 1:39 am
    Ah, thx for the offer.
    If you know Japanese, the Aoishiro game could use some help to make it go faster. =)
    Otherwise, I’m not the best person to ask about cleaning/editing so I’m not great at it myself.
  31. Suzu-chanon April 7th 2009 5:58 pm
    ok… first of all, I’d like to thank you guys for the translations and for giving us -the non japanese speakers/readers- a chance to read these great yuri manga!
    also, since I don’t know where to ask, or to post(whatever), i wanted to know if you ever thought about translating Mars no Kiss…. i tried very hard to find it, but it seems like no one has translated it yet. since the author is kishi torajirou, it must be a great manga… I really want to read it *.*
    please, if you don’t feel like translating, or something like that,do you know where i can find it? HELP PLEASE
  32. shijimaon April 7th 2009 10:37 pm
    Ah, sorry, I don’t have that manga.
  33. shikion April 15th 2009 4:54 pm
    Hello Shijima I communicate with you because I want to use the translation and the
    raw of the manga “Himegami” as a base for a
    Spanish translation project. without forgetting to give credit for his
    edition and translation of the manga in English.

  34. shijimaon April 16th 2009 12:03 am
    Sent an email. Sure, you can do whatever you like, it’s not like I own the rights to any of this stuff. :p
    Good luck!
  35. Lion June 15th 2009 1:59 am
    Hey there!

    I’d like to host your projects on Esthetique, would it be alright with you?

    We’ll definitely credit and link back to you as well as keep the files intact ^_^

    Thanx and have an awesome day!
  36. shijimaon June 15th 2009 6:37 am
    Yah, sure, why not.
    Let me know your webpage and I’ll add a link to your site too.
    Thank you.
  37. Ixiazon June 16th 2009 12:24 am
    I noticed that you said something along the lines of : If you have any other Nanoha yuri doujins, pass them along and we’ll see if they get translated or not. I have a stack of 1 - 2 gb nanoha doujins, both non-H and H. I’ll see if there is any yuri amongst them :p
  38. Ixiazon June 16th 2009 2:15 am
    Seriously… there is no pure yuri anywhere in that folder. no matter where i look, theres a cock. it’s making me sad..
  39. shijimaon June 16th 2009 6:15 am
    Ah, that was ShiroAka.
    Oh…well…I’m sure pure-yuri NanoFate exists somewhere. =)
  40. Ixiazon June 16th 2009 6:57 am
    Yeah. Sad thing is, in the 4 gb folder i have, there is almost NONE… and the rest was subpar :D THink i have a quite large folder of non-H doujins of nanoha as well toh….
  41. Winterbraidon June 16th 2009 7:12 am
    @Ixiaz:
    Well, non-H is also fine with me. ;)
  42. Lanceon July 11th 2009 2:15 am
    Thank you for all the good work you’ve pit into this site and the scanlations. Your translations are right on and you are a-okay with the English editing and artful dialogue inserts!

    I was so impressed by your offerings in one place that I whipped up a alternate ending for Lucky Aogeki - Celtrance. I can’t read the story’s original writer-artist to send him/her my appreciations and alternate ending suggestion.

    Is there anyway you can provide it?

    Thanks for any help!

    Lance
  43. shijimaon July 11th 2009 6:22 am
    Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed some of the scanlations here,
    though Winterbraid is the one who worked on Lucky Aogeki. =)

    I couldn’t find the author’s email, but his blog is located at:
    http://celtrance.blog26.fc2.com/
  44. Yukion July 25th 2009 4:11 am
    I have rarely seen yuri scanlations. So I’m very happy when I stumbled upon this site! =D Please continue scanlating Yuri manga! And Thank You very much for the awesome job! May God Bless you lots =D
  45. shijimaon July 25th 2009 6:41 am
    Hehe, thx.
  46. Hiphopopotamuson July 31st 2009 11:20 am
    Thank you so much for all the lovely stuff you’ve translated. Top-notch quality all around!

    You people are just too awesome. Thank you!
  47. shijimaon July 31st 2009 11:54 pm
    Ah, thanks. =)
    I’m glad so many people decided to help out.
  48. georgeon August 3rd 2009 7:32 pm
    Hello

    I saw your site today. Mind if we exchange banner? my traffic is good. shoot me an email if you are ok with it.

    George
  49. shijimaon August 3rd 2009 10:06 pm
    Ah, apologies, I normally only link to yuri-related sites.
  50. pizdapizduon August 7th 2009 10:37 am
    Hi,
    thnx 4 your translations. Just wanted 2 ask if U R going 2 translate Gonjo manga. Everyone says it’s like best yuri manga ever…

    Thnx 4 answer!
  51. shijimaon August 7th 2009 11:36 pm
    Sure, np.
    ??? - is the manga you’re talking about Gokujo?
    If so, it seems Tsudere Yuriko is going to take care of it.
  52. Lunaon August 8th 2009 2:43 am
    @ shijima : I think he was talking about Gunjou ( http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=30908 ).
    But maybe I’m wrong…
  53. shijimaon August 8th 2009 6:19 am
    @Luna
    Thanks. I had not heard of the manga before.
  54. kidneyson August 8th 2009 8:12 am
    Lililicious have Gunjou on their planned projects page I think.
  55. shijimaon August 8th 2009 10:07 pm
    @kidneys
    Ah, thanks for the info.
  56. Lillyon August 17th 2009 8:03 am
    Thanx 4 your excellent job, guys! I found your page while searching for “Nikurashii Anata e”, but I’ve noticed that you translated only 1. & 7. chapter. Are you planning to work on other 5 chapters too? Thanx 4 an answer & for your work…
    Lil
  57. shijimaon August 17th 2009 9:53 pm
    Sure, np.
    I believe ShiroAka said since the other stories are not yuri the other chapters will not be worked on.
  58. Lillyon August 20th 2009 11:32 am
    Oh, I didn’t want to start reading it until I have all chapters, so I didn’t know that. Thanx for info… ;)
    One more question. I’ve noticed that you work really fast (thanx for that too :) ), so wanted to ask if you haven’t considered translating yuri game “Sono hanabira ni kuchizuke”. There is already one guy, who announced he’s translating it, but almost 2 years have passed & all he does is just promising once in 2-3 month that it’s going to be soon… :(
    Thnx for an answer!
    Lil
  59. shijimaon August 20th 2009 10:00 pm
    Sure, np. I don’t think I’ll work on the Sonohana games since
    1) I’m a little burned out from my current translating pace
    2) I don’t have the tools he’s using

    But since an anime is coming out, I’m sure someone will fansub it. =)
  60. kamyuon August 20th 2009 10:28 pm
    I want to work on the second one after I finish what I’m working on.
  61. shijimaon August 21st 2009 5:24 am
    Awesome to hear.
    I take it Sara x Kaede are your favorite couple then? =)
  62. kamyuon August 21st 2009 7:09 am
    Actually, it’s just that it’s the second one. I don’t really know about the series… ^^;
  63. K-Nashion August 24th 2009 7:01 am
    ah Shijima-san,can I ask you for some tips?(if you think this is a spam its Ok to ignore it..)

    I’m thinking to start learning Japanese language,since its likely I’ll go there next year to continue my study..

    but,the question is….where do I start?do you think i should ask help from a Private course or something?

    my,verbal Japanese seems to be well versed(since I learned by hearing a lot of anime dialogues for years..heh…)

    but the problem lies with the literature of course,the KAnji….Jesus, there are nire than 2000 kanji’s there,I simply don’t know where should I start….A tip would be greatly appreciated..m(_ _)m
  64. shijimaon August 24th 2009 8:05 am
    I never think of your comments as spam. =)

    I’m perhaps not the best person to ask since I’m not that great with the language myself.
    Perhaps some of the other translators can chime in.

    Here’s the summary:
    Best method:
    1) Live in Japan
    2) Take a class at college
    3) Try to learn on your own

    Difficulty in part of the language:
    Reading < << Listening <<< Writing <<< Speaking

    Spiel:
    Hmm…if you’re going to Japan, that’s probably the best method already since it’ll be total immersion.
    Otherwise, probably a structured class would be the best.
    I started learning in college also. Or perhaps a private class with a couple people.
    It’s nice to have others there cause it helps you improve.

    Just make sure your classes use hiragana/katakana from the start.
    None of this romaji (romanized) stuff which is totally useless in real life anyways.

    As for dialogues, perhaps dramas would be better, since I think they talk a bit faster and closer to real life.
    Some drama DVDs also come with subtitles so you can see what you missed.

    As for kanji, there’s nothing to do but memorize.
    Also, remember that though there are 2000 standard kanji, it’s not knowing the kanji that will be hard.
    It’s the compounds, as in the combinations you can make with the kanji.

    If all else fails, I guess it’s self-study.
    Forget about stuff like Pimsleur (I tried their Cantonese course, what a waste) or Rosetta Stone.
    Try to get the books and the exercises that are used in college courses.

    Good luck and let me know how it goes! =)
  65. kidneyson August 24th 2009 10:37 am
    @K-Nashi: If you are planning to study by yourself I can recommend looking at this site as a starting point: http://www.guidetojapanese.org/
    That’s what I did back then and it has really helped me along the way. It covers a lot of grammar and I like how it goes into the actual workings of the language.
    And as Shijima said, learn the words and not just the Kanji, since they’ll have different readings in different compounds.
  66. K-Nashion August 26th 2009 4:16 am
    @Shijima,Spiel,Kidneys
    ….wow,I never thought I got so many reply…he heh thanx for all the tips.really.it encourage me more to study Japanese..:D

    @Shijima,
    is reading really much2 easier than speaking?(or am I seeing it wrong here…?) wow,I never thought it like that,I always thought that speaking is actually easier than reading,that put a new perspective in my learning..

    @Spiel
    well,the reason I want to learn Japanese is so that I can communicate well with them once I’m there…so,it rather important to “master” at least conversationally skill before I go there…and yes,currently I’m starting with katakana right now,I think by the end of this month I’ll be able to memorize all of them,I still don’t know about Kanji though…

    and thx for the tips..^^

    @kidneys
    thx for the website you provided me,it was really usefull!!(I already memorized all of the katakana by now..)

    and about kanji,,so In other words i can’t just memorize kanji one by one..but by the words…any good tips how should I do that..?
  67. shijimaon August 26th 2009 7:32 am
    @K-Nashi
    Perhaps it’s just me, but I have trouble speaking in general.
    As in, for me, you can’t directly translate from English to Japanese and expect to sound natural.
    I’ve gotten a couple, “Huh, what did you say?” or “That’’s not how a native person would speak”.
    That also applies to my Chinese though :p
  68. kamyuon September 11th 2009 4:09 pm
    All right.
    I’ve done my best on the second SonoHana game, but I can’t do anymore for now.
    Is anyone interested in checking my translation?
  69. shijimaon September 11th 2009 11:07 pm
    Wow, awesome.
    That was incredibly fast.
    I don’t have time to check it all, but if you upload the Japanese and English scripts and let me which sections should get a lookover, I can do that.
    I doubt any of the ecchi scenes or SFX need proofreading. =)
  70. kamyuon September 12th 2009 12:08 am
    It’s a very rough translation. Maybe I should try editing it again before having anyone look at it, although I think I need a break first.
    The ecchi scenes actually were quite troublesome for me… =_=
    Also, I don’t know how accurate this is, but I think it’s three thousand something lines.
  71. shijimaon September 12th 2009 6:08 am
    Ah, ok. Whenever you’re ready, just post the scripts then. =)
    I’ll confess that Aoishiro only had one translating pass also because I didn’t really want to look at it anymore either.
    Well, I guess Yasumi’s route had 2 passes since the web novel was essentially the same…
    Hmm…that had quite a bit of errors on the first pass…
  72. kamyuon September 12th 2009 1:36 pm
    Okay, to start with, I think I’ll put up the first scene, since I think that’s close to how I usually translate. It’s all downhill from there, though. =_=

    is there any chance that there’ll be a translation of the Strawberry Panic visual novel someday?
  74. shijimaon September 12th 2009 10:22 pm
    @kamyu
    Thank you. I’ll try to review it by next week.
    I read a couple sentences, and it looked good so far. =)

    @anon
    Do you mean the PS2 game?
    If so, I’d say the likelihood of a translation is 0. :p
    (It wasn’t that great a game anyways).
  75. kamyuon September 13th 2009 12:03 am
    Thanks deciding to check it. I think I’ll start editing the rest of it.
  76. kamyuon September 13th 2009 10:47 am
    It turns out that I had translated a lot of the second scene decently too, so I didn’t change it that much. I think it’s a bit longer than the others. I’d appreciate it if you could look over it when you have time.

    @kamyu
    Ok, will do.
  78. kamyuon September 14th 2009 10:02 am
    I looked over the third scene and…I’m starting to get the feeling that I didn’t do as bad a job as I thought I did translating the rest of the game (plus I’m getting lazier ^^;).
    I think most of my troubles actually came from the H scenes. Anyways, here’s the scene:

    English: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?nndzeyjknoz

    Japanese: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?yzahlvhqnic

    Let me know if I’m putting up too much.
  79. shijimaon September 14th 2009 11:02 pm
    @kamyu
    Hehe, no, I don’t mind the posts.
    I’m definitely a fan of fast and accurate translations.
    I can probably finish the first 2 scenes by the end of the week.
    I haven’t seen anything wrong so far, just a couple wordking auggestions.
    I’m probably learning more by reading your translation.
    You definitely have top-notch Japanese skills. =)
  80. Yion September 15th 2009 12:12 am
    @kamyu: Wow, thanks for translating Hanabira 2. A lot of people would be really happy. ^ ^ Good luck.
  81. kamyuon September 15th 2009 8:03 am
    @shijima
    Thanks for your continued help. Well, here are scenes 4-6.

    English: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?0knym3mthjz

    Japanese: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?myygjj5wy1z

    The awkward translations may have increased.

    @Yi
    Thanks, I’ll try my best.
  82. shijimaon September 16th 2009 8:07 am
    Dang, you’re fast. =)
    Hehe, feel free to just release it whenever you’re done since I haven’t found anything wrong with the translation so far.
  83. kamyuon September 16th 2009 8:48 am
    I’m only lightly looking over the translations and fixing small mistakes. Also, I started out translating pretty well, but I think the quality starts dropping around the third scene… Well, anyways, here are scenes 7-9.

    English: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?yjagjymwjxj

    Japanese: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?kyihnyzmrrn

    Thanks as always.

    Dang, fast as always.
    Here’s Ch 1-3 notes.
    All edits are suggestions only.
    http://www.solelo.com/temp/sonohana%202%20-%20ch%201-3%20edits.doc

    Hehe, I was wondering if I was missing something between Ch. 2-3 and then I realized there was an ecchi scene in there.
    Thanks for omitting that since I was proofreading these in a public place (though no one’s behind me). :D
    I’ll have to play the game someday.

    I think the ED to Bakemonogatari goes quite well with the first couple scenes.
    http://www.mediafire.com/?zjweiicyhzy
  85. kamyuon September 17th 2009 6:01 pm
    Wow, thanks a lot. That was fast.

    Could you check the ecchi scene that I took out? I’ve never translated anything quite like it before, and it shows. I didn’t really know what to do, so I varied the level of translation throughout it. It’s kind of a mess, but I’d appreciate suggestions. Here it is if you decide to look at it.

    English: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ymimmjtlzrn

    Japanese: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?n1zxmgonynz

    I also like the ED to Bakemonogatari.
  86. Lonelon September 18th 2009 1:03 am
    Wow, I didn’t know that someone was translating the Sara/Kaede 1st game! And it seems you’re pretty fast too!
    Many thanks for your work, and I hope you’ll be able to finish it and release a patch :)
  87. shijimaon September 18th 2009 7:45 am
    @kamyu
    I took a quick glance at the translation and it seems fine.
    I myself am not qualified to give suggestions.
    Perhaps someone else can take a look?
    All your translations are spot-on so if there’s an editor around who would like to take a look? =)

    As for 04-06, it’ll probably take me until the end of next week.
  88. kamyuon September 18th 2009 8:59 am
    @Lonel
    I’ll do my best.

    @shijima
    Thanks for looking over the translation. Also, do you plan on looking over all the scenes? I kind of got caught up with putting them up and I didn’t notice that I was basically putting the whole thing up until now. (There are six left)
  89. shijimaon September 19th 2009 12:47 am
    @kamyu
    I don’t mind looking at all the scenes though if you’re already done, you might as well release it since the translation looks good.
    There’s no need to wait for me since I can only do about 3 scenes a week and I don’t want to hold you back. =)
  90. kamyuon September 19th 2009 11:13 am
    @shijima
    First, congratulations on finishing Aoishiro. I don’t think I could ever translate anything that big. :p Also, if you’re willing to check the scenes, then I’ll wait; I think I also have to do more work on the later scenes.
  91. shijimaon September 19th 2009 10:01 pm
    @kamyu
    With your translating pace, I have no doubt you could finish off a large visual novel. =)
    Ok, I’ll go through the scenes, but just let me know if you want to release it at any time cause I hate being a bottleneck that slows others down. =)
  92. kamyuon September 20th 2009 10:59 pm
    @shijima
    I’m glad you decided to check all the scenes. Things may go even faster than they would have, although I’m kind of taking a break now. :)

    Sono hanabira ni kuchiduke wo futari no atsui natsu

    the link are:

    I hope you could translate it and post it here @ Solelo. Thanks
    ^^b

    Best regards,

  94. shijimaon September 21st 2009 8:06 am
    @lonely_dragon
    Thank you for the link.
    I’m a little busy right now, but I can work on that one instead of the Sara x Kaede one next.
    Though it’ll probably have to wait until next year so perhaps someone will translate it by then? =)
  95. lonely_dragonon September 21st 2009 9:02 am
    @shijima

    Hehe… I see you are pretty busy. :P

    I hope other can translate it and post it here. ^^b
  96. kamyuon September 21st 2009 8:30 pm
    Well, here are scenes 10-12. Watch out, the translation is not as good in these scenes as they were before.

    Japanese: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jwbmzocyza2

    English: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?yzyi0zjxj2w

    I think Nanoha’s OP go with these: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=C34JT22R
  97. shijimaon September 21st 2009 9:46 pm
    I’m sure the translation is fine. =)
    Yep, I do like “Innocent Starter”. It’s a great song.
  98. kamyuon September 22nd 2009 1:05 am
    Well, here are the final scenes. They are very rough, so tell me if I should go over them again, though you might not believe me until you see them. I really didn’t do that much to them since I translated them.

    English: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?niyumjyjnyn

    Japanese: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?2gnnwyoayt4
  99. shijimaon September 22nd 2009 7:39 am
    I’m sure they’re fine.
    Hmm…if you’re done already, did you want to release it?
    It’d take me at least a month and a half to go through all these… ;__;
  100. kamyuon September 22nd 2009 8:21 am
    They aren’t fine, really, and I haven’t really done anything other than translate it, but it’s okay if you don’t check the rest of the scenes; I think I’ll manage one way or another.
  101. shijimaon September 23rd 2009 6:06 am
    I don’t mind reading them since it’ll force me to read the story, plus Kaede’s amusing.
    I like it when she’s acting like inanimate objects.
    I’m just sad that it’ll take me quite a while.
    But as you’ve noticed, I’m only taking a look at the translation, which looks perfectly fine.
    If you want restructured sentences, I guess perhaps what’s needed is an editor?
  102. kamyuon September 23rd 2009 10:16 am
    Both Kaede and Sara are funny. I thought it was funny when Kaede acted like those things too.
  103. Aillateyon September 23rd 2009 1:11 pm
    Amazing, Hanabira 2 translation ! Thank you a lot Kamyu from the bottom of my heart for your hard work ! I like the way Kaede react to Sara’s speech or teasing, it’s always fun.

    Now, I’ll patiently wait for the ecchi scenes too :)
  104. kamyuon September 23rd 2009 1:16 pm
    @Aillatey
    You should wait until I’m finished. The translations I put up are really rough. Also, I’m probably not going to put any more translations up for now.
  105. Aillateyon September 24th 2009 12:03 pm
    @Kamyu : I’m really conscious of the fact that it’s a draft version (even if I found it really enjoyable to read). I’m just very glad that someone has decided to work on Hanibira2 & is aiming to do a quality work. So thx again :)
  106. kamyuon September 24th 2009 12:25 pm
    @Aillatey
    You’re welcome.
  107. shijimaon September 24th 2009 11:09 pm

    Is it ok to give your email?
    Thank you.
  108. kamyuon September 24th 2009 11:22 pm
    Thanks for checking the scenes again. Wow, someone volunteered to be an editor? That’s great; you can give them my email.
  109. shijimaon September 24th 2009 11:25 pm
    Ok, done.
    I’ll stop checking the scenes for now since the translation’s fine.
    Thank you for taking on this project again. =)
  110. kamyuon September 24th 2009 11:55 pm
    I’m glad to work on this game. The translation for the later scenes worry me, but I guess that means that I should work on them some more.
  111. kamyuon September 25th 2009 12:20 am
    @shijima
    I think you mistyped your last edit. What is it supposed to say?
  112. shijimaon September 25th 2009 5:09 am
    ;__; - that’s another reason I shouldn’t edit.
    Reuploaded the correct one.
    I was trying to say: “Although for us, the feeling was only that of close sisters.”
    Of course, since I translate stuff wrong quite a bit, anything I write is just a suggestion.

    Ok, I’ll slowly take a look at the rest of the scenes.
    I can do around 3 chapters a week.
    Thanks again for taking on this project.
  113. kamyuon September 25th 2009 8:55 am
    Wow, I’m sure getting a lot of help now. Oh yeah, would you be interested in editing the images for the names, menus, etc.?
  114. TheShinySwordon September 25th 2009 7:31 pm
    *blinks* Oh the conversation was right here I could have asked Kamyu myself. I sent you an email but I forgot to ask the most important thing, what file do I start on? ^^;;;;
  115. kamyuon September 25th 2009 8:02 pm
    I don’t think I understand your question. If you’re asking about the scenes, I’ll send you updated ones soon.
  116. TheShinySwordon September 25th 2009 8:16 pm
    Oh thanks a lot :D. Then I patiently await it.
  117. kamyuon September 25th 2009 8:38 pm
    Oh yeah, do you want the Japanese too?
  118. shijimaon September 26th 2009 1:30 am
    @kamyu
    Err…not sure if the questions was directed at me, but I’d have to pass on editing since I suck at Photoshop… ;__;
  119. kamyuon September 26th 2009 1:59 am
    @shijima
    I don’t even know how to use Photoshop. TT_TT

    Is there anyone else who’s interested in editing the images?
  120. TheShinySwordon September 26th 2009 6:57 am
    @Kamyu: Nah I don’t need the Japanese, my Japanese knowledge is zero except for the few characters I can read because of my limited Chinese. How difficult are the images to edit and how many are there? I have limited photoshop skills but if it’s not too difficult I’ll do it.
  121. kamyuon September 26th 2009 10:18 am
    I think there are 22 images I want edited and the difficulty varies. I’ll also send you those so you can look over them.
  122. Dawnfireon September 27th 2009 1:53 pm
    Helloes. I don’t know of your plans for the future, but regardless my personal wish would be for many or some Meiling-sakuya doujins. For reasons no one is intersted, that pairing above others in the series makes me happy. At least unless it’s played out as ending in “humorous” cartoon violence.
  123. shijimaon September 27th 2009 10:21 pm
    Sure, why not.
    I’m trying to get a Kagu x Moku doujin out tomorrow, but I’ll change next week’s release to be Sakuya x Meiling.
    The rest of the Pigeon Blood one’s will take some time since they’re quite long, but I’m definitely committed to making it to White Clover, my favorite Sakuya x Meiling one from Pigeon Blood.
    Some other nice C76 Sakuya x Meiling (is there a shorter name for this pairing?)
    are Velvet and one by UA which I’d eventually like to work on.
    Some of the Pigeon Blood ones have cartoon violence, but it’s not the focus.
  124. Dawnfireon September 28th 2009 6:29 pm
    > is there a shorter name for this pairing?

    めーさく in Pixiv, which would be romanized as Meesaku. Which isn’t exactly smooth in english.
  125. shijimaon September 28th 2009 11:11 pm
    Ah, thank you.
    How about I romanize it as MeiSaku?
    That looks a little smoother. =)

    Hello Kamyu,
    Have you been able to get some help for SonoHanabira 2 ?
  141. LDCon November 24th 2009 7:48 pm
    Now that Katahane wasn’t picked up by Amaterasu, would you reconsider translating it?
  142. the_paperon November 24th 2009 8:33 pm
    Katahane is still on the table for future consideration by Amaterasu; the poll results will be thrown out because of sabotage and they’ll now choose the game they most want to do out of the finalists at a future date.

    However, this does open the way for someone else to pick up Katahane, so to speak. I know for one that I definitely want in if there’s gonna be a translation project.

    Thanks anyway to everyone who voted! Katahane placed #4 in the polls, which is no mean feat.

    @ Shijima : No probs, thankyou for your reply Shijima. Hopefully Kamyu will come back and lets us know how things are going later on. He/She is probably just really busy handling some real life concerns atm, hopefully its nothing too drastic.

    But it’s more than likely a case of being too busy to find time for hobbies. Which I can completely understand, I have a website that’s been waiting on a weekly update for two weeks now; I’ll have to get onto that ;)

    @Do
    Hmm…someone had sent me Ch.1 at some point,
    and I had glanced through but I didn’t see any obvious yuri.

    Balticbard had sent me a link to yamibo about another manga called “Unstable Castle of Tokarev”
    http://www.yamibo.com/thread-114703-1-1.html
    which seems to have more possibilities.

    Here’s a brief summary:

    Oh, thanks anyways. About Unstable Castle of Tokarev, someone already scanlated the first chapter of it and I’m not sure if you could call that a brief summary since you actually describe the whole chapter, lol.

    @Do
    Oh, haha, if I knew it was scanlated, I wouldn’t have needed to type up that summary. :D
    Thanks for the info, it seems like a manga to keep an eye on. =)

    @shijima:
    I would like to start efforts to create a patch for Sonohana #2 based on the translations posted in this thread. However, I noticed that a lot of the script is missing and that the link for one chapter is broken. I would like to ask permission to use your scripts and if you still have any copies of the omitted sections. I have already started on text and graphic replacement, but until I get your leave, I won’t release anything.

    Hello !

    Hope Kamyu is doing fine :) Do you have some news for Hanabira 2 ?
  167. shijimaon April 10th 2010 7:31 pm
    @AXYPB
    Apologies for the late reply.
    You are free to use whatever you like but I have no way of reaching kamyu so I cannot reupload anything.

    @Aillatey
    Apologies. I have no news on that.

    Thank you, shijima. If it gets down to it, I may just have to find another translator to finish the parts that haven’t been translated yet.

    Hi! I’m not sure if this is the correct place to post this kind of question but…….
    Does someone know if in the doujinshi stores in Japan, they still sell ShizuruxNatsuki doujinshi? Like TOURS or any other doujin? IF they do, do you happen to have the names of the stores and location?

    Thanks in advance for any info provided.

    Hello, I’m not sure if this is the correct place to post this kind of question… I followed your releases of gokujou drops and I wondered if you were going to take care of Mousou Honey of the same author because nobody takes care of it for the moment ?

    In case this project would interest in you here is a site where is raw : http://funs-downraws.blogspot.com/2010/03/mousou-honey-chapter-01.html

    In any case I like the work which you make and I was anxious to thank you for all that you made and will make:)
