I’ve been trying quite a while on the Higurashi Mahjong game, but it hasn’t happened yet.
Yuribou says he’s gotten close, but also hadn’t managed to come up with this yakuman either.

Oh yah, I wanted to mention that this release was inspired by reading Saki fanfiction about Hisa/Mihoko,
particularly Falter by Arwyn.

So thanks to Yuribou telling me about the Etopen plush, I did search for it and find him.
However, he was bigger than I expected. Maybe 12 inches (30 cm) in diameter?
I did try holding him while typing at the keyboard but it seems I’m no Haramura Nodoka,
so he’ll probably need a new home in the future.
In the meantime, he can just live in the little cardboard box he came in.
Anyways just ignore that lame joke…
Hakka-ya is my favorite Saki circle so far.
And not just because they draw Hisa/Mihoko though that doesn’t hurt. =)
They’ve actually released two new Hisa/Mihoko doujin.
One is “Will You Marry Me 2″ and the other is “Private Talk” (for sale Feb 7.) though I can’t find them for sale at the usual suspects like Toranoana, Melonbooks, so if anyone knows, let me know.

I have some nice Saki doujin, but I believe Yuribou has the best Saki item of all,
the Saki mahjong set!
It’s still available from Amazon.co.jp
I got the chance to play with him, and his wife when I was in Japan.
I got a ron, but then proceeded to get owned as Yuribou got a heavenly hand yakuman (天和),
and his wife got a haitei raoyue (海底撈月) just like Koromo.
Anyways…
Vista makes some really great Saki doujin.
Their SD characters are also awesome.
Chibi Mihoko is the cutest!

Like the name implies, this is about Ikeda and Captain from Kazekoshi Academy.
However, unlike the cover suggests, it’s not quite as happy a story as one might think.
Though I’m more a Hisa x Mihoko fan, I definitely feel for Ikeda.
There are no winners in love triangles are there?
(Unless all 3 get together I guess. )
