ES - Eternal Sisters - Vol 1

ES - Eternal Sisters - the maiden’s school where flowers bloom ([es] エターナルシスターズ - 花咲く乙女の学園) is an anthology of yuri stories much like Yuri Hime or Yuri Tengoku.
Many of the artists also appear in Yuri-Hime.
It’s from 2004 so it’s a bit old, but still has some good stories.
Personally, I thought the first half of the book was better than the latter half.
The ones I liked were:
Coincidence (Guuzen)(偶然) - is by the same artist as the doujin group UA Cats who made some of my favorite Marimite doujin such as Rosenkreuz and Utahime. Rosenkreuz has been translated by Lililicious. Eden is another good one!
A Dream of Winter Chrysanthemum (Fuyugiku no Yume) (冬菊の夢) - I like this one the best. The art style is also very nice.
Some of the notes from the authors at the end were amusing.
I think Fujieda Miyabi’s was the best.
He wrote: “Since this was a yuri job, I asked if I could snatch it up right away. Long live girl couples!”

Done with ES - Eternal Sisters
Geez, that essay at the end was killer!
I’m still not sure what’s going on there. Well, I understood the ending at least.
ES also has a Volume 2, but some of that book is repeated in other places so I won’t be scanning it.
Ex) It has “Hana to Yurina Gumi” which also appears in Yurihime S Vol.3 (ironically, I translated that for Dynasty who has already released it.)
And it also has Ameiro Kouchakan by Fujieda Miyabi which will be scanlated by Lililicious.
Time to watch the Olympics.
