Note: This is a cursory plot summary and translation of some of the dialogues for Katahane.
As my Japanese is not that good and I skipped through many scenes, the plot and dialogue may not be accurate.
Please let me know if I've made any mistakes or if you have translations to contribute.

In Katahane, there are 3 scenarios. The scenario changes the opening sequence and some of the events seen.

During the first 3 times of play, you get Wakaba's, Angelina's and Coco's scenario in that order.
After the first 3 times, you can choose the opening sequence you want to see.

The game is much like any other dating simulation game except that active character who has the point
of view changes every so often.
This way, you can view the inside thoughts of each character, even villians.

At times, the game also allows you to pick who is going to be the active character (ACV change).

Opening

Wakaba's scenario:
Angelina is looking out the window rehearsing lines from a play about Princess Christina.
However, Angelina finds it hard to just practice by herself but doesn't want to bother anyone else in her house.
According to history, Princess Christina was betrayed and I killed by her regent, Ein.

Angelina's scenario: Wakaba is typing a play on her typewriter.

Coco: Coco is looking for Cero and thinks he might be sleeping.

Prologue - in Moosgrun

Cero is sleeping on a couch when Coco returns.

He eventually wakes and wonders whether to bring Coco to town to buy milk.

Choice:
「ふたりでミルクを取りに行くかい?」- Do you want to go buy milk together?
「ひとりでお留守番。。。できるかな?」 - Can you watch the house by yourself?

Cero meets Wakaba and her brother Light in town where their family runs a bakery.

If you choose to leave Coco at home, Wakaba and Light argue about something and Light wants to say something back.

「くっそー! 言い返してやりたいけど。。。」 - Curses! I want to say something back, but...
「。。。なんだよ、セロにーちゃんの前だからって」 - What is she doing? In front of Cero nii-chan too.

Whatever choice you make, Wakaba goes back to Cero’s house because she wants to show him something.

Wakaba is working on a play about the final ruler of the Red Kingdom, Princess Christina.
Cero is a little confused because the plot if not finished so Wakaba explains a bit for him.
The country they live in used to be divided into 2 countries, the Red Kingdom and the Blue Kingdom.
In between the two kingdoms, the White Kingdom was created to maintain peace between the countries.
The White Kingdom was first ruled by the Durn family who were born from the marriage between the Red and Blue Kingdom.
The White Kingdom also did research. What kind of research? The hint is Coco.

ココが ? About Coco?
白の国といえば、人形技術だよね ? If it’s the White Kingdom, it should be research about dolls.

The last ruler of the White Kingdom was especially talented in doll techniques and called a “tuner”.
Christina will be one of the main characters in Wakaba’s play along with Ein Ronberg who is one of the most infamous people of that time.

Ein Ronberg acted loyal on the outside but plotted to start a war between the White and Red Kingdom.
Failing that, he assassinated his lord, Princess Christina.
However, Ein was captured by the help of a doll that the princess was taking care of who led
the Red and Blue Kingdom to Ein.

Wakaba’s play is based on the old play Tenshi no Michibiki ? (Guided by an Angel)
This play is popular and has been made into TV shows, books, movies.
However it is called the cursed play. Just recently, an actress playing Christina developed a high fever and collapsed.

Cero wants to ask for Wakaba’s advice about something:

夏休みの予定、とか - About plans for the summer
ふたりの今後につて、とか - About the two of us
何だろう?ねえ、なあーに ? What do you want to talk about? What?

Cero is currently studying history and for his summer break, he needs to take Coco to get some maintenence
from a person named Rein in Jilberg, a nearby town.
Rein is a friend of Cero's late father and has been acting as Cero's patron by
paying for his living expenses and schooling.
The reason he has to travel so far is the lack of experienced doll "tuners".
There have been less and less people going into the field.

Wakaba is surprised that Cero's patron is such a famous man.
Rein is a doll tuner so great he is considered a national treasure.

Cero tells Wakaba he is going to Jilberg and asks if she wants a souvenir like photographs. Wakaba says she would rather
take the pictures herself and go with Cero and Cero says sure, Wakaba can come along.

Wakaba is going to ask Light if he wants to come along to Jilberg, but gets in a slight argument with him and doesn't ask him.

However, when Cero, Coco, and Wakaba board the train, Light is also there.
He says he overheard Wakaba talking about the trip.
The two start to argue but Cero tells them to stop and they both apologize to Cero. Light asks Cero if he can come on the trip
and Cero says of course.

Katahane Opening Movie plays

Jilberg

Cero, Wakaba and Light arrive in Jilberg but Cero doesn't know exactly where Rein lives. Light and Coco run off ahead to
find him to the consternation of Wakaba.

If you asked about the plans for the summer earlier, Cero asks Wakaba what she thinks about living in Jilberg. Wakaba mistakes Cero’s
meaning as asking her to live with him.
無理よ。だって、私には家族が居るし - I can’t. Because I have a family.
ま、待って。私にだって、心の準備が ? Wait. I haven’t prepared myself.

Cero wants to live in Jilberg to be closer to Rein, but he also doesn’t want to give up studying history.

Cero and Wakaba have to walk quite a ways from the train station to town.
When they reach the edge of town, they see a girl in overalls walking with two younger children and a cat.

Cero asks the girl if she is a resident of town and if they know where Rein's house is. The girl looks surprised at the question and afte
r Cero introduces himself, tells the two that she is Rein's daughter.
Wakaba is interested in the girl because she is an ancient model of doll which have wings.

The girl introduces herself as Belle and takes them back to Rein's place.
Cero and Wakaba arrive before Light and Coco.
Belle talks to Wakaba and actually thought she was Coco because Wakaba was with Cero and because Rein told Belle that Coco was also very genki!
Wakaba gets a chance to interview Rein while the others wait outside.
Light, Coco, and Belle are chatting outside.
Belle says she’s glad to meet Coco since she doesn’t have a lot of chances to talk with other dolls (called “sisters”).
Coco refers to Belle as “Fa,” but she doesn’t know why.
Light asks Belle about her “drops” and she says that they are needed for dolls to functions and hers are near her heart.

Cero then chats with Rein and he asks Cero if he believes Wakaba’s play will succeed.
ワカバなら、きっと ? If it’s Wakaba, she will
本人の努力次代かと ? With her ability, maybe next time

Cero also wonders if he should continue with his history major or learn how to maintain dolls because there might be no one to take care
of Coco in the future since the most tuners are old like Rein.
Wakaba broaches the idea of having Belle act in her play.
Wakaba has already gotten Rein’s permission. Wakaba wants Belle to have the part of the princess’s companion who sings.
She asks if Belle likes to sing and Belle says yes. Wakaba then she’s perfect.

Belle asks to think about it. She was happy that Wakaba said she was needed, but she doesn’t know if she can participate.

Coco then gets maintenance from Rein. Coco has a special stone that Rein says she should take care of. Coco can’t seem to remember
, but other people have told her the same thing.

Belle will at least accompany Cero and crew to the Blue Kingdom since she has to run an errand there.

Belle is carrying a basket that Rein said should be kept a secret from Coco. To convince Coco not to open the basket,
Light tells Coco if she opens the basket, a monster will eat her.

Belle takes a nap on the train to the next town and Wakaba and Cero chat while Light and Coco play with each other.

Cero tells Wakaba that if she ever needs any help with the play, she can rely on him.
そうね。そのときがきたらお願いするわ ? That’s true. If the time comes, I’ll ask
いいのよ。私が好きで始めたことだから ? It’s ok. I started it because I wanted to.

Wakaba notices that the cover of Belle’s basket seemed to open, but then wonders if it was a figment of her imagination.

The four of them, Light, Wakaba, Cero, and Belle travel to the capital of the Blue Kingdom, Bleu.

Bleu

The team splits up and agrees to meet at the fountain in the center of town at 5 in the afternoon. Coco goes with
Light and Cero, while Wakaba goes with Belle.
Light chats with Cero and sees a beautiful girl walking by.
He turns to search for her, but she is lost in the crowd.

Belle and Wakaba find the address Belle is looking for and Belle finishes her errand while Wakaba says
she’ll wander around outside and meet up with Belle.
Belle finishes her errand early and wonders what she will do next. She still wants to travel a bit.
She decides to relax a bit by singing but wants to find a place without people.

Angelina's first meeting with Belle

Angelina's perspective

Angelina is heading home from her part-time job.
It is the day before the results for an audition she participated in are announced.
To help her calm down, she decides to practice at the site she's been using for the past year
which is an empty square with a fountain off the main road.

Angelina: Well...I wonder how today's practice is going to turn out?

** I really should research the last scene more and practice three more times in preparation.
Thinking about that, I turned the corner about to enter the peaceful square, but...

(Someone's there?)

I felt someone else's presence and stopped walking.

(--Is it the usual lady?)

If it's the usual lady that sits at the corner, a polite greeting should be enough.
But if it's someone else, since I didn't bring the screenplay, I'll stop after practicing a few lines.
Deciding that, I walked forward another step.

And then, seeing an unexpected person, I suddenly stopped.

Belle: Ah..Ah..Ah..

** There was a girl warming up her voice with her back arched, looking at the sky.
Her clothes were as white as snow. And on her back was a snow-white accessory that looked like a wing.

(--Kawaii)

She looked like a fairy from a picture book.

The wind swirling around the buildings lightly blew her slightly wavy blond hair.

Belle: Ah..Ah.. Is that about right?

** The hand that was touching her throat slipped down and then reached out.
She didn't realize my presence.
I, on the other hand, could neither move forward or backward.
I could only stand there watching while the girl took a step forward.

Belle: ...LaLaLa...

** She started singing with a clear voice.

(--A beautiful voice)

I've never heard that song before but it didn't matter.
I couldn't do anything but stand there and listen to her voice.
Also, after the melody was sung, I naturally repeated the lyrics.

Angelina: (--Looking at the sky, I make a promise with the birds)

** If I knew this song, I might not have just followed the lyrics but instead stood by
her side to sing along.

...Just thinking that, my heart sung along.

Belle: ...This feeling...

Angelina: (...This feeling...)

Belle: ...I wish...

Angelina: (...I wish...)

Belle: ...it would reach you...

Angelina: (...it would reach you...)

** After the end of the first phrase, the girl's voice sounded as if it would disappear.
Without thinking, I took a step forward---

Angelina: Ah!

** The cans I was holding in the paper bag started to fall and I reached out my arms.

Angelina: ...Phew...a close shave.

** I had emitted a loud voice, which should have startled the girl.

(--Ah. Just then, I used quite a loud voice?)

** Startled, I looked up to apologize to the girl I surprised.
But, there was no white fairy in sight, just the usual, peaceful square.

Angelina: What? Huh?

** The wind blew my hair.

Just now, was that girl, a figment of my imagination?
No, that couldn't be.
I definitely heard that voice.
And I definitely saw her with my own eyes.
A young girl with one wing on her back, singing in this square.

Just now, was that girl, a figment of my imagination?

Cero is frustrated because there reservation at the hotel was cancelled because they were late
for check-in. To get another room would require a room upgrade because Dolls need to be
treated separately.

Wakaba and Belle meet up with Cero and Light and Coco also come back.
Light runs off saying he has to search for something and he’ll be back.
They decide to stay at that hotel for the night and then find a different place to stay.

Angelina has arrived home and the caretaker of the orphanage, Nicola, is surprised that she’s
arrived home so fast. Angelina says she’ll have salad for dinner because she doesn’t want to gain
weight, but Nicola reminds her that she always eat two portions!

Nicola asks what will do about tomorrow which is when the results of the audition that Angelina
participated in is announced.

The day, Light runs off in the morning and comes back with a packet of raw meat.
Wakaba asks why he bought that and did he get coerced into buying it?
Light gets angry and runs off.

The reason Light bought the meat was because he sees the beautiful girl working at the meat
market and tries talking to her but eventually just ends up buying some raw meat from her.

An older woman, Nicola, notices Light's behavior and wonders if he's run away from home.
He says to leave her alone but eventually ends up talking to her and Nicola says that Light and
company can stay at the orphanage she runs.

Belle returns and Wakaba is starting to get worried since Light still hasn't come back. They
wonder whether they should stay put or search for Light.

CHOICE
ワタシ、ここで待ってます ? I’ll stay here to wait for light.
交代で探しに行きます? - Let’s take turns looking for him.

After the group makes their decision, Light comes back and says he's found a place for them to
stay. The party arrives at the orphanage where they introduce themselves and help out at the
orphanage in return for staying.
Cero gets to do laundry, Wakaba, cooking, Light, cleaning, and Coco and Belle take care the
chidlren.

Nicola calls Belle an “angel” (tenshi-san).
When asked why, Nicola replies that 20 years ago, when she and her husband visited Jilberg, it
seems they saw a white-winged angel flying around the hills and Nicola wonders if it was Belle.
Belle says it wasn’t her though. She says that she always run over hills.

Angelina returns to her room and meets Lulu and Coco.
Angelina calls Dolls, Schwester (German for sister), instead of Sister which is how other people
normally refer to them, because in her play that’s how they call them.

Angelina gets introduced to everyone in the party except Belle who is off on some errand and
then returns to her room to rest.
Wakaba comes to visit Angelina. Wakaba has learned that Angelina is an aspiring actress who
admires Christina. Because of this, Wakaba would like to have Angelina act in her play.
Angelina is unsure, and would like to think about it.
Wakaba leaves, and Angelina falls asleep.

First face-to-face meeting

Angelina's perspective

She's woken up when someone knocks on her door and it turns out to be Belle.
and replies that yes, it's dinner time. The voice that wakes her up is unfamiliar and says that she
is Belle.
Angelina opens the door and is surprised to see the girl who was singing in the square. Belle
introduces herself and says that she must have heard about her.
Angelina says all she knows is Belle's name and that she is a doll (schwester).

Angelina if Belle is really a schwester.

Belle says yes and is a bit surprised to be called by that since that is an old-fashioned term and
it's been a long time since someone called her that.
Her father told her that it’s what dolls who act used to be called.

** I don’t when it happened but I dozed off and was waken up by a knock on the door.

Angelina: Yes? Is it dinner time?

Belle: Yes it is.

** It could be because I’m still groggy from having just woken up, but I couldn’t tell whose voice it
was.

Angelina: Lulu? Paula?

Belle: ...Umm...My name is Belle.

** (Belle? Belle is?)
Rubbing my head, I had a feeling it was one of the people from the group that is staying at the
orphanage.

Angelina: Please wait a moment. I’ll get the door.

Belle: ...Ok

** Quickly brushing my hair and straightening out my skirt, I opened the door.
...And standing there was...

Angelina: ...You!

Belle: ...Ah...Nice to meet you.. (Hajimemashite)

** It was the girl from yesterday that was singing at my rehearsal place off the backroad.

Belle: I’m sorry for the late introductions. Have you heard about me from the others?

Angelina: ...No...only your name and...

** that you’re a Schwester.

Belle: I come from Jilberg and am traveling with Cero and the others.

Angelina: ...Is that so?

Belle: ...?...Is there something on my face?

Angelina: No, no, there’s nothing like that. You have a very pretty face.

**...What am I saying?
But the more I look at her, she doesn’t look anything other than a human.

Angelina: ...Um...you’re a Schwester, right?

Belle: ...Eh...yes, I am...but it’s been a long time since I’ve been called that.

Angelina: You’ve been called a Schwester before?

Belle: A long time ago, a few times only. Father told me that in olden times Sisters who performed
on stage were called that.

Angelina: ...Is that so?

** I was a little happy that she understood.
Looking at Belle, I wanted to ask her about the time I heard her sing.

Angelina: Do you like to sing?

Belle: Eh?

** Her face clouded up a bit.
(Ah...did I ask something I shouldn’t?)

Belle: Did you hear something from Wakaba?

Angelina: ...No, why?

Belle: Did Angelina-san get invited to participate in the play by Wakaba-san?

Angelina: ...Yes, just a while ago.

Belle: I was also invited to play the part of an angel who is by the princess’s side and sings.

** Hearing Belle’s explanation, Wakaba was a bit overboard in saying the angel’s role was almost
decided.

Angelina: Are you going to except?

Belle: I’m still thinking about whether to accept or not.

Angelina: Why? Is it because you have no acting experience?

Belle: There’s also that, but there’s a greater reason. I can’t sing.

Angelina: ...Wait...but didn’t you say you like to sing?

Belle: Yes...that’s why Wakaba says I should play the part of the angel...but I can’t sing in front of
other people.

You!

After dinner Belle is watching TV with Coco.
There is phone call for Angelina and Nicola tells Belle to tell Angelina she has a phone call.

Back at the living room, Belle can hear Angelina talking to someone named Marion.

マリオンって、誰なんだろう - Who is Marion?
やっぱり、盗み聞きはダメよね ? I really shouldn’t eavesdrop.

After the phone call, Angelina thanks Belle for getting her returns to her room.
Belle and Coco also decide to sleep.

In the morning, Wakaba is following Angelina around trying to convince her to join the play.

Angelina eventually shakes off Wakaba since she has a meeting.

Angelina meets with Marion

Angelina's perspective

** I arrived at the Cafe Terrace first and sat down to wait a bit.
The last time we met was at this caf?, and mysteriously, it was this same table we talked at.

Angelina: ...A...ano...onee-sama!

Marion: Yes, Angelina?

Angelina: Actually, I wanted to talk to seriously talk to you about something today...

** Thinking about that time, I felt embarassed and my cheeks burned.

Marion: I always listen to you seriously.

Angelina: ...Thank you very much.

Marion: But before I listen to your news, I’d like to tell you something.

Angelina: Y...yes!

** The reason I was nervous was simple. That day, I was going to her about my feelings for her.
I was ready to be rejected and was going to “confess”.

Angelina: So...what did onee-sama want to tell me?

Marion: Next month, I’m going to start touring so I won’t be able to visit your school.

Angelina: Congratulations!

** I somehow managed to congratulate my honoured teacher.
But I couldn’t hide my shock at what I noticed next.

Angelina: Ah....

** There was a simple, shining ring on her left ring finger.
Even I knew the meaning of that.

Marion: Before going on the tour, a lot of people talked to me.
Among them, there was a really enthusiastic person and recognized me as an actress and as a
woman.

** Along with the ring, those words turned my hopes to dust.
...But even now, I don’t feel betrayed.
At that time, she could sense what I wanted to say.
And didn’t talk about it before leaving.

Angelina: Ah...I’ll pay for today

Marion: Don’t worry about it.

Angelina: But just for today, to congratulate you.

Marion: Thank you, but next time. The next time we meet here, I’ll take you up on that offer.

** I wonder if onee-sama remembers that promise?

Marion: Sorry to keep you waiting, Angelina!

Angelina: Ah...onee-sama!

** She arrived like the wind and naturally sat down across from me.
She hasn’t changed in two years...she’s still so beautiful.
Sitting across from me elegantly sipping tea, I wonder how close I was to her.
(--To my honoured teacher that I admired so much, Marion Curie)
Putting on successful public performances everywhere and slowly building her reputation, she
was quite a famous person now.
Sometimes I would see her on television giving interviews, but to be in front of the actual
person...I can’t even compare to her.
I wonder if it’s sad to be faced with the reality of the difference in our positions.

Marion: What’s wrong, Angelina? You’ve stopped moving.

Angelina: Sorry...

Marion: Mou...it’s been so long since our last meeting, why don’t you smile a little?
Or it that you’re not happy to meet me?

Angelina: That’s not the case at all. I was happy to receive your phone call yesterday.

Marion: And now?

** Onee-sama, who likes to tease people, asked an obvious question.

Angelina: Of course.

Marion: Considering that, you’ve got quite a scary face.

Angelina: Is that so? I didn’t mean to do that.

Marion: How do I say it? It’s like you’re deciding on your target. And if there’s a chance, you’ll
shoot them.

Angelina: ...Sorry...

Marion: That’s fine. It’s like facing a rival, and it’s a little exciting.

** Onee-sama gave a little smile

Angelina: ...I don’t think it’s like a rival. Onee-sama is so far above me right now.

Marion: Eh...that’s so boring. We’ve come to say such boring things as that?

Angelina: ...Uh..that’s...

Marion: You don’t want me as a rival?

Angelina: ...but...

Marion: Is it because I heard about that you failing an audition?

** That sudden question caused me to stick out my hand.
I took a deep breath and

Angelina: If you knew that, you didn’t have to ask me.

Marion: Fufufu...sorry...you’re so cute that it made me want to tease you.

Angelina: Onee-sama! Please stop joking around too much.

Marion: I...don’t...want to...I don’t get a lot of chances so I’m going to tease you all I can.
You can be as depressed as you want.

Angelina: Eh?

Marion: It’s important to be frustrated. Especially for people like you.

Angelina: What do you mean?

Marion: It’s like I said. After frustration, it’s important to think about what’s next.
Do you want to quite? Or fight again? Which do you want?

Angelina: Of course, I want to fight.
But, I’m worried about how far I should go down this path.

** Onee-sama pointed at my chest.

Marion: Ne...Angelina, at those times, think about your first feelings.

Angelina: My first feelings?

Marion: When you first arrived at school, you were reckless, right?

** At that time, I attended a school which Mother said was an investment for the future.
When I attended, I knew everyone was better than me, so I worked hard to catch up.

Marion: I don’t mean that you have to repeat those times.
It’s just that you should think about what you need now and what was important when you first
started.

** ...What I need now...

Marion: There will be many chances. Big ones, small ones.
Of course, everyone is attracted to the big ones.
But it would be a waste to let any slip by.

Angelina: That’s true.

Marion: I want to steadily chase those chances.

** I thought about her words.
I knew I couldn’t just stand around forever just looking upwards.
I knew it two years ago.
But right now, my confidence was shaken because of my rejection.
Maybe, I held myself back.

Marion: Mu...so boring!

Angelina: Yes?

Marion: Just because I gave you something to think about, you became silent.

Angelina: It’s not that! I’m thinking about you said.

Marion: Ah...mou...I’m telling you that’s boring!

Angelina: ...Onee-sama...please calm down.

** I like her childish behavior, but I think it’s better if others don’t see it.
(She sort of resembles Wakaba)

Marion: I don’t like studious kids who are the top of the class like you. You’re too smart and think
too much.

Angelina: Though you say that, you are...

Marion: What about me? Just because both my parents are actors and I received a gifted
education, does that bother you?

Angelina: I don’t mean that at all. I know you worked hard to reach your current position.

Marion: ...Fufufu...Thank you, for following up on my conversation. You’re kind, Angelina. That’s
why I like you.

Angelina: ....O...Onee-sama

** Her sudden words caused me to stop thinking.

Marion: Ara...your face is all red...what happened?

Angelina: ...Could you not tease me with saying you like me and you hate me?

Marion: Fufufu...sorry...right now, you have someone you like, right?

Angelina: Eh? I didn’t say anything like that.

Marion: ...Are? Was I wrong? Forget about it.

** Onee-sama looked away from me and picked up her cup.

Marion: So..what are you going to do now?

Angelina: I’m worrying about a lot of things.

Marion: Could you go into a bit more details? Do you have a specific goal? Are you going to
practice by yourself until the next audition?

Angelina: ...I’ve thought about that too, but right now...not

Marion: Do have another path?

** Hearing that, I thought about Wakaba’s proposal.
(What should I do?)
After thinking a bit, I talked about the proposal.

Marion: Sounds interesting.

Angelina: Do you really think so?

Marion: Of course! Moosgrun’s Acting Festival? Sounds fun! If it’s a festival, there will be food
stands too, right?

** That’s what she meant by interesting?

Angelina: Actually, what do you think?

Marion: Uh? About the invitation?

Angelina: Yes.

** What would be the plusses and minuses for me?

Marion: ...Since I wasn’t invited, I can’t answer.

Angelina: ...

Marion: But...it could be a chance.

Angelina: Do you think so?

Marion: Seeing Christina laugh, seeing Christina cry. If you think it’s fine, why not accept the
candidacy?

** In the end, I didn’t get a clear answer.
She said to decide on my own.

Marion: It’s too bad, but it’s about time. I have to meet with my husband.

Angelina: Your husband...is Fabio-san?

Marion: Yes...I had a little argument with him and he said he had to meet me, so...

** She gave a resigned face, but I don’t think it was her true feelings.
Fabio Grey was a famous and busy person.
To get a chance to have their schedules meet was a chance that couldn’t be passed by.

Marion: So...about the bill?

Angelina: ...Ah...ano...about that...

Marion: It’s Angelina’s treat today, right?

Angelina: Y..Yes!

Marion: Ok...thank you for taking care of the bill. I’ll take my leave then.

Angelina: Thank you for today.

Marion:.Fufufu...that’s fine since it’s for my cute younger classmate.

** As she said that and got up to leave, she had one last word...

Marion: Next time...let’s meet on stage.

** Watching her leave, I wanted to follow her.
(No...that’s wrong, I should be standing next to her, instead of always chasing her)

Now, about the bill

Angelina heads home and her mom tells her to finish an errand.
She sees Coco who refers to her as ‘Ma’. Angelina asks why and Coco says she resembles her.
When asked who she resembles, Coco says she doesn’t remember.
She’s in a hurry but Light wants to talk to her.
He asks if Angelina has anyone she likes and she asks why.
She’s in a hurry so tells Light to hurry about and say what he wants to say.
Light tells Angelina that he likes her, but Angelina can’t accept his feelings and says sorry.
Light then runs off.

Cero goes looking for Light and eventually finds him outside.
Light is upset and crying and Cero comforts him. Angelina is also looking for Light and talks to
him and explains her feelings in more detail which helps Light feel better.

At night, Wakaba can’t sleep because she somehow ended sleeping next to Cero.
Normally Coco is between Cero and Wakaba. She gets up and goes outside.

A meeting under the moonlight

Angelina's perspective

Angelina is getting some fresh air at night and runs into Wakaba outside.
She tells Wakaba that her Wakaba’s attitude should be better if she’s asking a favor of someone.
Wakaba agrees, and then Angelina says Wakaba should be glad she met Angelina.
Then, Wakaba gets mad and she says Angelina shouldn’t have such a big attitude either since
she’s just starting out as an actress.
Angelina is a little hurt and asks Wakaba to give her some time to think about joining the play.
As Angelina is about to head back in, Belle calls out to her.

Belle: Angelina-san?

** Belle just arrived down the stairs to the main door.

Angelina: Tonight, everyone’s going outside. Are you taking a walk too?

Belle: No. I heard your voices and woke up.

Angelina: ...Sorry.

** I was going to be careful, but in the middle of the argument, forgot.

Belle: Don’t worry about it. I’m having a light sleep today. I think I would’ve woken up even if I
didn’t hear you two talking.

** Belle looked at me, and didn’t move.

Angelina: Is there something you wanted?

Belle: ...Yes. I wanted to talk to you about something.

** As she was looking straight at me, I couldn’t refuse.

Angelina: Ok. How about we discuss this in my room?

Wakaba: ...Ne...What should I do?

Cero:...Um...I wasn’t there so I’m not clear on the situation...

Wakaba: Anyways, I made An angry.

** This is a problem.
I could hear Cero and Wakaba talking in the cafeteria that’s facing the corridor.
I didn’t think they would be having a conversation so late at night.

Cero: So what do you want to do?

Wakaba: ...Of course, I want to make-up with Angelina.

Cero: What if Angelina says she doesn’t want to participate in the play?

Wakaba: Well...I’ll be sad but there’s nothing I can do about it. I was the person at fault.

** I knew it. Wakaba is a good person at heart.

Belle: ...Ano...What should we do, Angelina-san?

Angelina: Sorry. It’s not good to eavesdrop.

Belle: ...ah...yes

** After the two of them talk, there’s a chance that they might come out, so for now, we’ll give up
on going to my room and return to the front door.
I’ll taste the night air again and listen to what Belle has to say.

Belle: ...I want to talk about the play. I’ve told you before, but I can’t sing in front of other people.
So if I participate, I have to overcome this...but I don’t know if I can find a way to do so.

** With a pensive face, Belle continued.

Belle: After Wakaba asked me, I’ve continually thought about this. Whether I should accept the
offer or reject it.

Angelina: What does Angelina-san think?

** After I was asked the question, I thought about the convesation at lunch.
Onee-sama said I should decide for myself.

Angelina: ...I’m sorry, but that’s something you have to decide for yourself.

** And I gave the same answer to Belle.

Belle: ...

** But it looks like she’s worrying about a different thing than me.
In my case, I have a specific goal, but it seems Belle doesn’t have one yet.

Angelina: Okay. First answer this, do you like to sing?

Belle: ...Yes

Angelina: Do you want someone else to hear your song?

Belle: Since I’ve never had someone listen to my song, I’m not sure.

An:...Ok, what if someone whose heard your song once asked you to sing it again?

Belle: ...Eh?

Angelina: It’s just a hypothetical situation. If someone wanted to hear you singing, would you let
them hear you?

Belle: ...Yes, if my song is ok for them.

** Her answer warmed me up a bit.

Angelina: ...Um, I have to apologize to you about something.

Belle: ...Angelina-san has something to apologize for?

Angelina: ...Yes...it’s not about here, but I want to apologize for something that occurred at
another place. I’m sorry to impose but could you accompany me for a night-time walk?

Belle: ...This place?

Angelina: This is a place where I often rehearse during lunch.

** I pointed to a unpopular place with a little fountain off a little backroad and watched Belle’s
expression.

Belle: Did Angelina-san...

Angelina: It seems you’ve noticed.

** I stood in front of Belle.

Angelina: I confessed, “That day, I was thinking of rehearsing and came hear and heard your
song by accident.”

Belle: ...Is that so?

Angelina: I apologize for keeeping silent.

Belle: Please don’t apologize. I just sang because I didn’t think anyone else was there. And
moreover...
I should be the one to apologize. I took over Angelina’s rehearsal place

Angelina: That’s ok. This place doesn’t belong to anyone. I’ve just taken it over and been using it
myself.

** Right now, it’s nighttime...the stage looks different than in the day.

Angelina: Can you dance?

Belle: ...I’ve only danced in the village festival.

Angelina: That’s fine. Can I have your hand? Yes, the right hand goes here.

** I guided Belle’s body and quietly started dancing.

Angelina: Right foot...right foot...yes, that’s the rhythm

Belle: ...Ah...ah...sorry, I stepped on your foot.

Angelina: Fufufu...even if you don’t say anything I know. There’s only the two of us dancing here.

Belle: Ah...but...I did it again...

Angelina: ...I’m fine. I was only stepped on a little. And also, you should be looking up.

Belle: ...Yes.

Angelina: Yes, that feels better. Just let me lead.

** Slowly, slowly, the two of us danced.
And it wasn’t a single person that made a decision, but we stopped dancing.

Belle: Angelina-san...wants to hear me sing?

** I felt that she would ask that question so I just nodded my head.

Belle: ...Right now, I don’t think I can sing. But, for Angelina-san, I’ll work hard.

Angelina: Thank you. But I’m not the only one hoping to hear you sing.

Belle: ...Eh?

Angelina: Did you forget about Wakaba?

Belle: ...Yes.

** It’s up to Belle to decide whether to participate in the play or not.
...But it would be sad for to give up without knowing that there are people who want to see her
perform.

Belle: If I can sing...does it mean I can act?

Angelina: I don’t know, but...

** I was going to let Belle decide on her own, but I had to tell her what I felt in my heart

Angelina: ...If you don’t participate, I don’t think the play will happen.

** I know it was a burden to hear that.

Belle: ...Is Angelina-san going to participate in Wakaba’a play?

Angelina: ...Hmm...what do you think?

** I asked Belle that question.

Belle: “That’s up to Angelina-san to decide,” is what she answered.
But if it’s possible... I would like to stand and perform next to Angelina-san.

** She gave an answer I couldn’t run away from.
(I guess we think along the same lines.)
First, I have to apologize to Wakaba. And then, I have to clear up any remaining problems.

Angelina: My place...will start from there.

Belle: What will start?

Angelina: ...No, It’s nothing.

** Looking up, the moon that was shining down on the two of us made me squint.
Right now, it’s a crescent moon so the light is weak. But it will surely become a full moon
someday and underneath that spotlight...
I will join Belle as she quietly starts singing and in this moment meant only for the two of us, we’ll
continue dancing.

That's for Angelina-san to decide.

Aubergine

The next morning, Wakaba is happy that she’s made up with Angelina.
Angelina has decided to go with Wakaba and company.
She gives her room to Paula, another orphan, and talks to her mother, Nicola about it.
Nicola gives her money and wishes her the best.
Angelina says that Nicola has always sacrificed for them, buying a piano when she wanted one
and even sound-proofing the walls.

The party leaves for the White Kingdom’s capital, Weiss.
They have private rooms in the train. Belle is scheduled to meet Rein the day after tomorrow for
some maintenance at Aubergine which is on the way to Weiss, but Wakaba has bought the
wrong tickets.

Belle says it’s fine if she goes to Aubergine alone and meets up with them at Weiss.
Angelina says that she’ll stay with Belle and the rest can go on to Weiss.
Angelina asks if it’s ok to call Belle, Schwester to help prepare for the play though she doesn’t
want to be princess (hime-sama) all the time by Belle in front of other people.
She tells Cero and he says let’s decide tomorrow.

Belle wakes up and she’s in an unfamiliar room. It seems she fell asleep and no one could wake
her up, so the whole party got off the train at Aubergine. Angelina has stayed by Belle’s side the
entire time.
Angelina has also been reading Wakaba’s screenplay.
It seems Christina is the first to call the Dolls she loved so much, Sister.
They also talk about Coco, who likes to shorten names.
Coco normally uses the last syllable of a person’s name if it’s a girl, she refers to Wakaba as
Kaba.
If it’s a boy, she normally uses the first syllable. Light becomes Li.
However, Coco calls Belle, “Fa”, and Angelina, “Ma”.

Wakaba and Cero are downstairs at a bar.
She’s talking about her screenplay and other people overhear that she made Ein a good person
which angers them.
A person throws a tomato at Wakaba, but Cero protects her and gets hit instead.
The guy is chased off by a mysterious man in black, who accepts their thanks, but looks like he
also took their money which was for their meal.

Belle is feeling better in the morning.
Cero is walking around town and meets the guy from last night, named Tonino.
Cero says that they have a Doll that needs maintainence and Tonino says he knows just the
person. He takes her to the bar to meet Silvia who is also a tuner.
She says it’s going to be expensive and Cero pays up front. Silvia will drop by the hotel later.

Tonino and Silvia go to town and they see Coco.
They find that the doll knows Cero so they think Coco is the one that needs maintainence though
Cero’s description was that the doll that needs maintainence is cute and has blond hair.
Silvia installs a Drop in Coco to make her feel better, but it makes her hyperactive and starts
running around breaking things.
Silvia grabs Tonino and quickly escapes.
Cero chases Coco as she makes a mess.

Rein has finally arrived and says that Coco had a weird Drop in her.
He also performs maintainence on Belle.
Rein talks to Angelina privately and says that Belle thinks she is special and to take care of Belle.

Weiss

The party arrives in Weiss, but unfortunately, the castle is closed to visitors.
Wakaba is disappointed. She heads back to the hotel room to take a shower but needs some
soap.

Wakaba is sharing a room with Light, Cero with Coco, and Angelina with Belle.

She tells Light to get some soap for her. Light in turn asks Cero is he has some soap. He really
needs it. Cero goes look for some and takes it to Light’s room.
He opens the shower curtain, but it’s actually Wakaba taking a shower!

As she screams for him to leave, they hear Light coming back.
She quickly knocks Cero into the bathtub upside down and tells Light to just leave the soap at the
door. Light wonders what’s the big deal since he always sees Wakaba running naked around the
house, but finally acquiesces.
Poor Cero is drenched and has blood running to his head.

In the meantime, Angelina and Belle are walking around town.
There is a choir singing and Angelina convinces Belle to sing though she notices she uses a Drop.

At night, Coco prepares to go to bed. Cero tells her a bedtime story about Princess Christina and
the Sister by her side with white wings whose name has been forgotten.
While sleeping she has a dream.

Sorry to keep you waiting, sis.

Kurohane - the Past

When Coco wakes up, she wakes up in an unfamiliar bedroom.
Looking out the window, she can see she's in a castle.

There's no one in the current room so she decides to explore and sees
some other rooms like meeting rooms.

Hearing a voice, she turns around and sees a princess and another girl.
Coco asks who they are and the two are surprised.
She learns that one of them is Princess Christina while the other is a doll named Efa.

The three chat a little until Christina is summoned by the head of her guard, Dua. Christina leaves
Coco with Efa.
Christina's regent, Ein also visits at this time and talks with Coco.
After Ein leaves, Efa tells Coco that she has a hard time dealing with Ein.
She also has a hard time dealing with Dua.
Coco tells Efa that she has a hard time dealing with carrots and bell peppers.

Efa tells Coco that dolls are also called the angels and are here to help humans.
That is why they have wings.
Coco replies that she does not have any wings, but Efa points out that the windup key on Coco's
back are wings since they resemble the wings of a butterfly.
Coco is impressed with Efa's knowledge, but Efa says she only knows specialized knowledge
such as that since she is doll built for acting.

Some people such as Jucci, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs are not happy with Christina's
rule. He complains that she placed a woman, Dua, as the head of the guard.

Christina, Efa, and Coco are acting in a play that is supposed to strengthen relations for their
respective kingdoms.
The play is called Angel's Egg (tenshi no tamago)

Christina is the ruler of the White Kingdom.
Efa is from the Red Kingdom, and Coco is from the Blue Kingdom.

There is some sort of plot that is taking place which is headed by Valery, an ambassador from the
White Kingdom. He installs an override stone in Efa which will somehow make Efa kill Christina
when Christina recites the final line in the play.

Also during this time, Jucci dies when he sees black wings in the hall at night. This surprises him
and he falls down the stairs and dies. The wings belong to Efa who was wandering the halls at
night.

At night Coco is scared so Dua walks Coco back to her room.
Coco asks if Dua is scared of the dark and she replies yes, but she says an even more
frightening thing is what hides in a person’s heart.

Christina holds a dinner party for Efa, Coco, Ein, and Dua.
Dua is surprised that Ein is so thoughtful when he helps Dua to her chair.
Coco asks what Dua likes and she replies potatoes.
Ein tells Dua not hold back when eating and teases her in asking why she’s so polite to let him go
first when normally she doesn’t like the difference in treatment between men and women.

During the performance of the play, everything is going well until the last scene.
In the last scene, Christina confronts the doll and tells her that since they can't be together, she
should just kill her.

Efa is straddling Christina with a knife to her throat.
It seems she can't control her actions anymore and tries to tell Christina not to say the final line of
the play.

During this interaction, Valery is seen with a smile on his face.

As Christina is about to say the last line, armed guards break onto the stage.
They try to attack Christina, who cannot move because Efa is sitting on her.
Efa somehow manages to move and take the blow for Christina which results in her having one
wing cut off. After this she is unconscious on the stage while Christina screams her name.

Efa wakes up in Christina's bed.
It seems Efa will have to go back to the Red Kingdom since she was just on loan to the White
Kingdom, but the two are reluctant to leave each other.

Efa finally leaves for the Red Kingdom and Christina is distraught.
Dua talks to her and says she can retrieve Efa back if the princess wants.
Christina finally agrees to let Dua retrieve Efa.

Dua rides out to where Efa's convoy is but sees that they are being attacked by bandits. She
rides into the fray searching for Efa and eventually finds her and pulls her onto her horse.
Efa asks why Dua has come.
Dua says she thought Efa was a spy but she saw how she protected Christina during the play
and now trusts her.

The two speed back to the castle, but as they are leaving Dua is hit by arrows from the enemy.
Efa is worried about Dua's wounds but Dua insists they keep riding for the castle.

Dua and Coco

Dua's perspective

When they reach the castle, Dua rests by the entrance while Efa goes searching for help.
Coco goes and approaches Dua but doesn't understand the situation.

Dua: That voice...it’s Coco, right?

Coco: Yes...it is. But why is Dua here?

Dua: Ah...this is road at the entrance to the castle, right?

**This road continues into the garden.
But I have no more right to enter there.

Dua: But Dua, why are you here?

Coco: I was exploring! Exploring!

** Coco waved her hands and looked around, looking cute as always.

Dua: Don’t wander too far, you’ll worry the princess.

Coco: Yes, yes. I won’t. I’m dependable.

Dua: Fufufu...Coco is dependable?

Coco: Yes...I always lock the door.

Dua: Oh?...what about changing clothes?

Coco: I can do it by myself now.

Dua: Is that so?

Coco: Ara...Dua...are you sleepy?

Dua: Ah...just a little bit.

** I felt comforted looking at Coco and talking with her.
Sitting, I was the height as Coco who was a straight-forward looking Doll.
(--Before, when we were shaking hands in the hall too...)

Coco: Oh...yah...listen...listen

Dua: About?

Coco: I..just..met...Efa, a while ago

Dua: Efa?

Coco: Efa came back. Though she was going to leave.

Dua: Fufufu...
Looking at her innocent face, is there anyone who wouldn’t smile at Coco?

Coco: And also, Efa told me...

Dua: What?

Coco: She said Dua was here.

Dua: Ah..is that so?

Coco: Efa asked me to talk to Dua.

Dua: Efa, did?

Coco: To talk to you...to talk, it’s a little weird

Dua: Yah, a little weird.

Coco: Are you copying me?

Dua: Ah...a little bit, do I resemble you?

Coco: Just...a...little...bit

**Coco’s trademark...

Dua: Ne...Coco?

Coco: Ay.

Dua: Could you stay by my side a little longer.

Coco: ???

Dua: Coco’s voice is a little low

Coco: Ah...ah....ah...
Can you hear me?

** Coco deliberately put her hands in front of her mouth and used a big voice.

Dua: Fufufu...I can hear you clearly.

Coco: Ne...ne...ne...Dua...the color of your face doesn’t look too good...

Dua: Is that so?

Coco: Does...your...stomach hurt?

Dua: I’m ok. If I rest some more.

Coco: Ah...I have something good.

Dua: ???

Coco: I’ll give this to you to get better faster.

** Coco opened her pouch...

Dua: This is?

** It was a light green gem.

Dua: You can’t do that. That’s your precious...

Coco: It’s...ok...if I don’t have it for a while, I’ll be fine.
But after you get better, return it?

Dua: Thank you Coco, you’re kind.

Coco: Hehe...I was praised

Dua: So...in return...

** Right now, the only thing I could give...

Dua: Could you come forward a bit more?

Coco: Ay,ay.

Dua: Sorry, for this...

** I gave Coco a little kiss on the forehead.

Coco: Ah!!! I was kissed! I was kissed!

Dua: Fufufu...what an grandiose reaction.

Coco: Because....it was embarassing!

Efa: Dua! People are coming right now...so....

Dua: Ah...Efa...are you ok?

Efa: Yes...I’m ok...so please hang on

Dua: I have something to ask of Efa...

Efa: ...Eh?

** While Coco was still reacting to my little gift...

Dua: Could you return this to Coco, later?

Efa: This is Coco’s?

Dua: Could you keep it a secret from her?

Efa: I understand

Coco: Ano...Efa...just now...

Dua: Hey...Coco...that is supposed to be a secret

** I gently pushed her forehead and petted her hair.

Coco: Eh?

Dua: In return, I have a task for Coco.

Coco: A task? Sure...I like to help.

Dua: ...the princess...

Coco: Are...Dua? I can’t hear you...

Efa: Dua! I’m begging you! Hang on!

Dua: In my place...please take care of the princess...

Coco: In place of Dua?

Dua: Yes...in my place...

Coco: I understand...It’s a promise.

** With that, I can rest.
Leaving it up to Coco, I can’t forgive myself a bit...

Dua: It’ll be ok, right?

Coco: Ay!

** Receiving an energetic reply, I took a breath.
...I protected Efa...I protected the princess’s precious Doll...
That is my last act to take pride in.

Coco: Dua?

Dua:...What?

Coco: You’ll catch a cold.

Dua: You don’t have to worry about that anymore...Co...

Efa asked me to talk to Dua

Efa wakes up in Christina’s room and is at first disoriented.
Christina is not around.
She reminisces about asking Efa why Dua saved her, and Dua replying that is was for the
princess.
Efa thinks that in her place, she would’ve done the same thing.
Efa starts crying about the situation and asks for forgiveness.
She says she doesn’t have the courage to protect the princess.

Ein is also greatly saddened by Dua’s death.
He thinks about how Dua was the most skilled guard of them all
And how they had a duel once.

Now Ein has one more thing to take of, Valery...

Eventually Ein confronts Valery who is behind the plot to assasinate Christina.
The two have a sword fight. It seems like Valery will win since he has knocked away Ein's sword.
Ein remembers what Dua taught him which is that if an opponent has a longer sword, you have to
close the distance and fight up close.
Ein rushes Valery and pulls out a hidden dagger and stabs Valery resulting in his death.
Ein says that Dua taught him this.

Christina is wondering what’s wrong with her.
Now that Efa is back, she stays by her side, but at night, she retires to her own room which must
be hurting Efa.
She also feels guilty about Dua’s death since Dua was listening to Christina’s foolish wish.
If she had not said to bring Efa back, then Dua would be here, but then Efa...

Efa returns to the room and they talk about what happened.
Christina still feels guilty and Efa says it was her fault, but Christina said that Efa couldn’t have
changed Dua’s fate and tells Efa that it was Christina herself that sent Dua after Efa because she
wanted to be together with Efa.

Efa says she can’t protect the princess like Dua, however.
But Christina says that Efa is like an important Sister, and would like to call all Dolls, Sisters,
though Efa is her only Sister.

Efa is happy, but she’s still not feeling well.
Christina wants to perform some maintainence, but it seems Efa has a slight fever which only
happens when thinking about Christina.

-- Ero Scene --

Ein meets with Christina and say Efa still needs to be sent back to the Red Kingdom.
She has been sent as a spy though Efa herself did not know it and has been fitted with two
memory stones.
One is her normal memory stone and another one is a special stone that records all her
interactions with Christina.
Christina is a master tuner and other countries would like to know her secrets.
The Red Kingdom hoped that Christina would be interested in Efa since she was a specialized
doll and would become close to her.
Efa also has an override stone in her shoe which is what made her try to kill Christina at the play.

Christina returns to the room to talk to Efa.

-- Ero Scene --

Ein meets with Christina and discusses what to do about the situation.
Christina also wonders what to do about the situation.
The Red and Blue Kingdom are preparing to invade.

At night, Christina and Efa talk to each other.
Christina wishes she could stay with Efa.

-- Ero Scene --

The next day, Christina asks if Efa still remembers all the lines to the play.

She explains to Efa about her memory stones and how one is continually recording her
interaction with the princes.
However, taking in all this information would eventually cause Efa to be overloaded with
information and die.

The only solution is to separate from Christina in order to stop taking in information. Either Efa
has to return to the Red Kingdom which would be unbearable she has become close to Christina,
or the source of the information would have to be stopped, in other words, Christina has to die.
Christina’s memory will still live on in Efa’s memory stone.

Christina starts repeating the lines from the play, and Efa realizes what she’s doing.

Christina and Efa's farewell

Efa's perspective

Efa: I don’t believe it. Why does the princess have to sacrifice herself to save me?

Christina: ...I don’t have much longer to live.

** It’s a lie! A lie! Because looking at the body not broken in any way...

Christina: Please forgive me, Efa. At the end, I want to at least by your hand...

Efa: I can’t accept this! Any of this!
I don’t want a princess that I can’t touch!
Didn’t the princess herself say that even if I was given an order, if it would take away my freedom,
I should object?

Christina: That’s true, but Efa...
Do you remember what I also said?

Efa: Eh?

Christina: I’m a selfish princess.

Efa: Even if that’s true, I won’t lose. I’m more selfish than the princess. I hold the princess more
dear than anyone else! Because of that! Because of that!
I don’t care what happens to me. The princess...should care more about herself.

Christina: Thank you, Efa. I’ve carved those words into my heart.
To make the two of us one, it’s my selfish wish.
You should take care of yourself too.
Efa...

Efa: Don’t! Don’t say the last words!

** If you say those words, I’ll...

Christina: I’ve always...always...been unable to say those words.

Efa: Princess!

** The words I always wanted to hear.
Those soft words whispered into my ear.
But right now...I don’t want to hear them!

Christina: Don’t cry, Efa! From now on, I’ll always be with you.

Efa: Prin...cess

Christina: ...This will be the last time I see you before me.

Efa: Don’t...say...that...

Christina: If my will is included along with my memory, I’ll always be watching you from inside a
mirror.

Efa: Don’t...It doesn’t matter who is holding me...

Christina: Efa...don’t cry...

** The princess stepped forward.
Her face was in front of me. The face of the princess I loved so much.

Efa: Don’t! I always, always, want to watch the princess.

Christina: Efa...I...

Efa: Stop...don’t say it...

Christina: I...love...you

Efa: Princess...
I also...love you...

Christina: I love you...

Secret Story - available on the 3rd time through the game and takes place of the Kurohane story

Ein rushes to where Christina is and sees her and Efa on the floor.
He reaches out to touch the princess but sees she’s already dead.
Efa is still alive and she tells Ein that she killed the princess.
Christina used the override Drop in Efa’s shoe and repeated the last lines of the play causing Efa
to kill her.

Ein hands Efa a memory stone filled with the history of the White Kingdom.
He says Efa should take it to the Red Kingdom, meet up with an ally of Ein’s and run.
Efa says that she will be pursued and that instead, wants to hand both Christina’s memory stone
and the White Kingdom’s memory stone to Coco.
She will give up her Doll body and sleep within the memory stone.
Her body should be ok for a while, since it has two memory stones.

Ein asks if Efa is good at acting and that he wants to be the one who killed and betrayed Christina.
Efa relectantly agrees.

Efa's last line

Efa's perspective

Efa: Princess...
From now on to protect your memory, I’ll be putting on an act.
It seems Ein is going to send a message to a high official that knows about the Red and Blue
Kingdom. If they accept a condition, they can have the kingdom.

** The citizens of the White Kingdom will surely had the Red and Blue Kingdom in the future

Efa: Ein says it will be difficult to guess if they will accept that condition
But if it goes well, the casualties will be lessened.

** And because of that, I have to put on an act till the end.

Coco: Efa! Where are you?

Efa: Coco?

Coco: Ah! You’re here!

** Ein and Coco walk into the room.

Ein: The princess is sleeping right now. Please don’t wake her.

Coco: Ay! I will use a low voice.

** I stood in front of Coco.

Coco: Efa, it’s time for us to part.

Efa: Yes, I heard from Ein.

Coco: Yes, yes, but Efa has to come later too.

** From behind Coco, Ein nodded, and I imitated him.

Coco: Then, I’ll see you later. I’ll leave first.

Efa: Have a good trip. (Itterasshai)

** I’ll never see Coco again.
Since this is the last meeting, I wanted to say more.
But if I say more, I’ll...

Coco: Oh, yes...Efa...

Efa: Yes? What is it, Coco?

** Coco stood before me and whispered in my ear.

Coco: I’ve become used to carrots and bell peppers.

Efa: !

** After losing my wing, I didn’t have a chance to eat with Coco.
In that time, the carrots and bell peppers that she was weak against...

Coco: I wanted to tell Efa first.

Efa: ...Thank you, Coco...Next time...

** I didn’t want to lie, but if by chance we met!

Efa: You’ll have to show me next time.

Coco: Ay!

** Thank you for the genki reply.

Ein: ...It’s time to go, Coco.

Coco: I’m lea...ving...now...(Itte...ki...masu)

** Ein gently supported Coco by the back as she left.

Ein: Please take care of the princess.

Efa: Yes...Ein...please take care too.

** This is the last meeting with Ein too.
When I first met him, I thought he was a scary person.
But...now...

Ein: Farewell.

** Ein shut the door leaving me alone with the princess.
No, that’s not entirely true. It’s only our bodies that remain in the room.
The princess’s memory stone and the Drun memory stone were already in Coco’s possession.
I’m not sure how long my remaining memory stone will last, but I can tell it won’t be long.
Until my strength runs out, I will continue Ein’s act.

Efa: I only have one line...

** Ein, who killed the princess, took treasure and ran.
That was all of Ein’s script.

-Ein, who killed the princess, took treasure and ran.

Anyone who heard that would think Ein planned the whole thing.
To relay this to people who visited this room is my last role.
But before performing my role...

Efa: I know this. Ein, you are a kind person.

** I whispered that as he was leaving the room.
-- Ein Ronberg, I’ll leave the rest up to you.

I only have one line

Ein's sacrifice

Ein makes sure Coco has everything.
The pendant is in her pocket and the memory stone is in her pouch.
Ein tells Coco to protect the princess in her place. Coco tells Ein that Dua told her the same thing
and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

This unexpected image of Dua makes Ein laugh and he also gives Coco a small kiss on the
forehead saying to keep it a secret from Dua.

Coco leaves and Ein prepares for his part. He is saddened that he’ll never see Weiss again.
Like how Dua protected Efa, Ein will protect Weiss, and the Coco’s future.
That is his last task..

And that is Ein Ronberg's last task

Back to Weiss

Coco wakes up and sees Cero. For a moment she is disoriented but Cero reassures her and
reintroduces himself.

Wakaba drags Cero along to the castle at night to see if they can sneak a peek.
She tries to climb over the walls by using Cero as a stepping stone.

The next morning, the gang see Tonino, who stole Cero’s money and caused trouble. He runs
and they also bump into Silvia.

To get away, Silvia fires a gun at Coco who collapses. Silvia is shocked because it was supposed
to be blanks, but it turns out Coco was just acting.
Cero forgives everyone and Silvia says they will return the favor someday.

In the lobby, Belle shows Coco what’s in her basket which are some small Dolls which are her
friends. There’s Flora, a conductor, Quake, a drummer, and Choco, a black cat.
Coco remembers that Light told her that a monster is in the basket so she’s afraid that Choco will
get eaten so she takes Choco and runs while Flora and Quake give chase.
This wakes up everyone on the floor.
Coco finally calms down and release Choco.

The next day, Cero wants to show them something so Angelina and Belle take a bus to the
countryside where there is a road that used to be the border between the Red and White
Kingdom.

Belle says the scenery is very nolstalgic.

Cero shows them a plate by the road which is Ein’s tomb. His punishment is to be buried by the
side of a busy road which Angelina and Belle find too cruel even if he is a traitor.
Angelina wonders if Ein really betrayed the White Kingdom.

The party is preparing to leave Aubergine but Wakaba has forgotten her manuscript.
Light says he will go back to retrieve it and Coco says she will go too.

When Light returns to the hotel, Wakaba’s room is empty.
He also bumps into Silvia.

Light is too late to catch the train, but the party agrees to contact him at the next time. Wakaba
finds her manscript in her typewriter case.

At the next town, they contact Light who says he’s been given a ride with Silvia and Tonino.
Angelina and Wakaba have just had an argument regarding Angelina's avoidance
of Belle. Angelina saw Belle using a Droip before singing and was worried that Belle
forced herself to use it since Angelina encouraged her to sing. Belle noticed Angelina's
behavior and asked Wakaba to help her resolve the issue, which wasn't a good choice
because Angelina tells Wakaba that she should concenrate on her own situation with Cero.

A conversation in the rain

Belle's perspective

At this time, it is raining and Belle eventually finds Angelina and they talk about the argument with
Wakaba.
Angelina understands Wakaba's position and will make up with her, but she doesn't want
to see her at this particular moment.

「お門違い」? - Barking up the wrong tree?
何の話だろう? - What is she talking about?

Depending on your choice, you get a slightly different version of the conversation

** I ask Angelina wants to leave the inn for a while even though it's raining outside.

Belle: Do you want to leave the inn for a while?

** I open the lid of my basket and remove a collapsible umbrella.
It's a small umbrella, but if we stand close to each other, we can fit under it.

An: Thank you. Then, I'll borrow a bit of your time.

** Saying that, Angelina-san stuck out her hand.

An: I'll hold the umbrella.

** For a second, I thought about refusing, but I let Angelina hold the umbrella.

Belle: I'm fine. Angelina-san, how about you?

An: I'm fine. Don't worry about it. More importantly, we have to keep your wing dry.

** We started walking under the umbrella together.
I silently apologize to Wakaba for being happy about their argument since I was given the
chance to walk together with Angelina.

An: About the earlier argument with Wakaba...
To tell you the truth, the reason for the argument was about our behavior towards each other.

Belle: About us?

An: ...After leaving the White Kingdom to come here to Chrome, I talked to you in the train
about the time you joined the choir to sing a song right?

Belle: ...Yes

An: Before you sang, I saw you drink a "drop".

** Now I understood why Angelina asked why I didn't refuse to join the choir.
When I was receiving some maintainence tuning in Aubergine, Father gave me some "drops".
Those "drops" are used to clear idle thoughts and allow one to concentrate on only one thing.

An: I heard from your father that the reason you were feeling bad before arriving in Aubergine
was
because you drank too many anxiety-reducing "drops".

Belle: ...Yes

** I now understood that Angelina had learned about "drops" from Father.

An: --That's why I kept thinking about things like "What if you feel bad again? or "She's doing dangerous things"

** Gathering my thoughts, I took a breath.
Everyone knew about this. They knew about my overdosing on "drops" and I caused them to worry.
Feeling ashamed, my cheeks reddened.
...But thinking about it, this was a natural conclusion.
Since Angelina was always by my side, it would be weird of her NOT to ask Father about the
reason I was feeling bad.

An: You worry about whether you should drink "drops" before performing, right?

Belle: ...Yes

An: ...I'm sorry.

Belle: Angelina...san?

** As I was expecting to receive a scolding from Angelina and was prepared for it, I didn't
understand the reason she apologized.

An: ...Just now, I was acting cool saying stuff like "I was worried about you," but at that
time, I was also thinking about something else.
---I was thinking how I'd like to see you sing without using "drops".

Belle: ...I'm sorry.

** Of course I said that.
At that time, I temporarily didn't feel confident.
And the most important thing was by using the "drops", I neglected the hard work I put into
practicing singing and betrayed Angelina's trust in me.
No matter how many times I apologize, I might not be forgiven.
But even so, Angelina...

An: No, please don't apologize. If you apologize, I'll only feel bad.

** As the pace of our walking slowed, I shook my head to the side and looked down.

An: ...Anyways, it was my fault to begin with

** I couldn't understand her thinking.

Belle: Why is that?

** No matter how you look at it, it's my fault.

An: At that time, I was the one who recommended you to join the choir and arrogantly said
"Go ahead and sing."
I didn't think about your situation and was excited to see you sing after you drank a "drop".

Belle: ...But that...

An: In conclusion...If I were in your position, I would also have drank a "drop".

Belle: ...Angelina-san

An: Even though I couldn't understand, I still selfishly said, "It's bad to use drops."

** It was obvious that Angelina was trying to protect me.

An: So what does it really mean when I said "I'm worried about you."

** Even with the sound of the rain weakening, Angelina's voice sounded as if it were about to
disappear.

An: I was the one who didn't understand.

** I couldn't stand seeing her deprecate herself.
Though I couldn't explain it, there was something wrong with that.
I'm bad at disgreeing with other's opinions.
But even still, at this moment--

Belle: That's not true out all. They're two different things.

** Without thinking about it, I said it more forcefully that I wanted.
...but, I couldn't take it back that I wanted to deny her self-deprecation even more forcefully.

An: Why do you say that? That's based on your own conjectures.

Belle: That could be so, but!

** I took a deep breath and gathered my feelings...
Calm down...
At a time like this, I have to deliver my feelings clearly.

Belle: ...I don't know the details about what Angelina-san and Wakaba talked about.
So, I can't say anything about it since I wasn't a direct party to the conversation.
But, about the choir incident regarding my singing, it's not just Angelina-san's problem,
it's a problem for "both of us".

** Saying that, I made clear the reason I couldn't agree with how Angelina blamed herself.
I wanted her to stop treating herself as the bad person.

Angelina: ...I understand.

** Angelina turned towards me while holding the umbrella showing a face that wasn't angry.

Angelina: So, how about we recognize each other's faults and say "Sorry" to each other?

** Instead, she gave that proposal with a kind tone of voice.

Belle: ...

** As she stared at me, my mind went blank. I realized I had agreed with Angelina and
wanted to say "Wait."
But thinking about it, I should reply...
If I'm careless and rely on my body too much, I might have other failures in the future.

Angelina: I won't say you shouldn't try hard. But first, we should start at the beginning,
so why don't we clear up our feelings?

** When I heard that, I felt a new feeling and took a deep breath.

Belle: ...I'm sorry for everything.

Angelina: ...No, it's my fault too.

** Me, Angelina, Me, Angelina.
Looking at Angelina with her bowed head, we both apologized 4 times.
From an outsider's point of view, it might look like a strange exchange, but apologizing
5 times would establish a perfect rhythm---

An and Belle: I'm sorry.

** Finally, we both raised our heads and looked ahead.

An: ...All I wanted was to be able to understand your feelings.
From now on, let's stop with the guesswork and ask each other's feelings directly.

Belle: I'll also not hide anything and talk about things directly.

An: Really? Then, we'll be able to talk about anything?

Belle: ...yes, I'll be careful.

** True, I can't go into extremes.

An: Let's be careful and slowly reduce any misunderstandings.
Then we'll be able to have a better relationship.

Belle: ...A better relationship?

An: ...Ah, uh, yah. I mean...a better relationship as acting partners.

Belle: Yes. I'll work hard!

An: ...That's not right. It's about the two of us so it shouldn't be "I'll work hard"
but should say "We'll work hard" (Gambarimasu vs. Gambarimashou)

** Angelina gave a little smile as she noticed I was taken aback.
Even though it was a platonic agreement, I felt that the distance between
Angelina and I became a little smaller.

An: ...Let's head back. I still have to apologize to another person.

** I gave a little nod and followed Angelina as she turned around on the rainy path.

Belle: ...Um...

An: Yes?

Belle: ...Angelina-san asked me back underneath the awning of the inn if I liked rain, right?

An: ...Yes, I did ask that.

Belle: I...like today's rain.

** I couldn't explain it well, but that was my answer now.

An: ...Yes, I like it too.

** Finally we agreed on that feeling.
I gave a murmur of thanks deep in my heart.
--Thank you.
I looked up the sky that unknowingly washed everything away naturally.

-- 2nd version, mostly the same except for a bit at the beginning and middle

An: I'll hold the umbrella.

** For a second, I thought about refusing, but I let Angelina hold the umbrella.

An: Are you ok? You're not getting wet, are you?

Belle: I'm fine. Angelina-san, how about you?

An: I'm fine. Don't worry about it. More importantly, we have to keep your wing dry.

--- same dialogue

Belle: ...Angelina-san

An: I was pushing you to sing which made you drink the "drops" though I was saying
"Using drops is bad." It was a selfish thing to do.

** It was obvious that Angelina was trying to protect me.

An: Just now, I said I wouldn't make you talk. But because we're acting partners it unwittingly
made me realize my own behavior.

Belle: ...

An: In the end, I was the one who pushed you to...

Belle: That's wrong!

An: Which part is wrong?

** I denied Angelina's claim with conviction, but what I really wanted to say was still in
my heart. The problem was how to say it.

Belle: Angelina-san, why did you say you caused the problem alone?

An: I already explained. If I had acted more mature, I wouldn't have caused you any trouble...

Belle: Please wait!

** Without thinking I said it in a loud voice and surprised Angelina.
But even still, I had to say it.

Belle: ...Please don't try to solve everything on your own.
If Angelina-san just apologizes and leaves it like that, I might make the same mistake in the future.
--Because, this is a problem for the two of us.

** Saying that, I made clear the reason I couldn't agree with how Angelina blamed herself.
I wanted her to stop treating herself as the bad person.

Angelina: ...I understand.

--- same dialogue

...I like today's rain. I couldn't explain it well, but that was my answer now.

Vermillion

The party finally all gather at Vermillion, a city in the Red Kingdom.
Wakaba says she has the great idea of having everyone participate in a local festival by
performing a puppet show.

Wakaba asks if everyone is ok with the idea and Belle says it’s ok for her if Angelina agrees to it.
Angelina is a little angry with Wakaba’s rash decisions.

Angelina and Belle discuss their thoughts

Belle's perspective

Angelina: You don’t have to force yourself to do this. You could exchange with Wakaba...

Belle: I’m ok. I can do this.

** I’ve had some experience at the capital of the White Kingdom.
(I can do this)
If I hesitate here, it might also effect the real play.
And moreover,

Belle: Is Angelina-san alright with this?

Angelina: Me? I’m ok. I play at home.

** Angelina is in charge of playing the organ.
Practicing with someone else will also help in the play.

Belle: I’m glad to hear to that.

Angelina: Ara...you were worried?

Belle: No...because Angelina-san can do anything, so...

Angelina: You weren’t worried?

** Angelina gave a forlorn look.

Belle: Eh...eh? Is it better for me to worry?

** I thought it was better to not worry.

Belle: Ok...than I’ll worry.

** If she says that, then I should just follow her.

Angelina: Baka, ne, you don’t need to feel obligated to worry.

Belle: Ah...uh..what should I do?

** I don’t really care either way.
The more important thing is I don’t know what she wants.

Angelina: ...You should just decide based on what you think.

Belle: Eh?

Angelina: Don’t just agree with me, just do what you think.

Belle: Uh...

**Really?
I understand her logic, but there’s something wrong with it.

Angelina: Don’t be controlled by me, just say what you think.

Belle: Eto..then I won’t worry.

Angelina: Ah...so.

Belle: But...I’m worried a little.

Angelina: ...which is it?

Belle: ...It’s...I’m not worried, but I’m worried a little.

** I said something that didn’t fit with Angelina’s question.

Belle: Sorry...I just...

Angelina: Don’t worry about it. I was teasing you too much.

Belle: ...I was being teased?

Angelina: Uh...yes...I didn’t mean anything by it, I just...

** I was a bit offended.
If the children in Jilberg played an ill prank on me, I wouldn’t get mad.
They are little kids who just need to be told, “No.”
But Angelina-san is different.

Belle: What do you mean by “Just”?

** I thought Angelina was a dignified adult.
That’s why I admired her and felt safe with her.
But to suddenly have such childish behavior...

Angelina: To tell the truth, I wanted to see your worried face...so...

Belle: So...

** I didn’t understand.

Belle: I thought Angelina-san would behave more like an adult.

Angelina: ...Sorry...

Belle: But...why did you do such a childish thing suddenly.

Angelina: ...I don’t know myself...

(If she doesn’t understand herself, to ask me wouldn’t help)
But she’s not alone.
At a different time and place, the same conversation occurred.
When the children in the village do something to worry me, at the end they arrived at the same
conclusion.

Angelina: Could you listen to me without getting mad?

Belle: Yes.

Angelina: When the idea of the festival came up, at first, I objected, right?
After that, you said there wasn’t enough time for a proper discussion and your were worried about
Wakaba, right?

** Thinking back, that was true.

Angelina: At that time, I wondered why you didn’t worry about me.

Belle: Eh? But, after that, I asked about Angelina-san.

Angelina: Yes, that’s true, but after asking about Wakaba.

Belle: ...

Angelina: I know it’s stupid and you’re hear talking to me but I felt ignored.

Belle: ...Angelina-san?

** The children of the village probably thought the same thing.
--They wanted me to notice them.
I planned to spend equal time with all of them, but some must still have felt lonely.
At that time, there are children who would do things like copy my actions, or forcefully talk to me.
There were kids that would use a big voice to surprise me though we weren’t playing hide-and-
seek.
They wanted to be noticed in their own way.

Belle: Sorry.

Angelina: Eh...why are you apologizing suddenly.

Belle: I didn’t know about Angelina-san’s feelings.

Angelina: It’s not that big a deal. Forget about it.

Belle: I can’t do that.

Angelina: This..is just my selfish feeling.

Belle: Even if that’s true.

** I stood in front of Angelina-san to force her to look at me.
I didn’t know about her feeling of alienation, and was bewildered by her behavior and got angry.
I was too insensitive. She must think that too.

Belle: I didn’t even think about it that way.

Angelina: ...Think about it that way?

Belle: I’m sorry...I was insensitive and didn’t notice.

Angelina: Wait..wait..stop...please, just stop.

Belle: Y...yes.

** She looked like she was in hurry and gave a movement unlike her usual self.

Angelina: Calm down...it’s a misunderstanding. It’s not that easy to understand another’s feelings.
Even if you did notice, it would still be a guess, right?

Belle: That’s true.

Angelina: I myself don’t really understand my feelings, so it would be weird if you did.

Belle: Is that so? I thought I might understand because it’s me.

Angelina: ...

Belle: You might hate me for saying this, but I’ve lived much longer than Angelina-san.
My outward appearance that doesn’t change, it must give a disturbing feeling to humans that
grow old.
When the village children grow old, I’m no longer an older sister, but like a younger sister.
And when they become adults, another change.

**It’s been this way till now and will continue.

Belle: In the time I’ve lived, I’ve known many children and they’ve passed by me.
That’s why I sort of understand Angelina-san’s feelings.

Angelina: You’re saying you understand because you’ve seen someone like me pass you by?

Belle: Yes...and they probably had the same feeling...

Angelina: It seems the guess is not in the correct range.

Belle: Eh?

** Angelina ?san’s quiet voice stopped my explanation.

Angelina: Do you think I’m just going to pass by you in life?

Belle: When we met, you’ve already passed me, I think.

**She looks older than me from the outside.
Is it strange to say she’s passed me?

Angelina: That’s not true!

Belle: Angelina-san?

** I was a little confused. What did I say that angered her so?

Angelina: Don’t just decide because you’re a little older.
We’ve only known each other a short while, but if possible, I’d like to be together longer.
Of course, if we grow to hate each other, we might painfully separate but...

** Hate? Me? Angelina?

Belle: A..ano...

Angelina: Anyways, do you think my feelings are like the people that passed you by?

Belle: Yes..but...

** Somehow, I think we were on a different wavelength

Belle: Angelina-san, aren’t you wrong about something?

Angelina: You’re the one that’s mistaken.

** Saying that and being stared at, I somehow began to feel I was wrong.

(But...is it possible...)
That she noticed she was trying to get my attention and was mad I didn’t pick up on it?

Angelina: Ok...listen carefully.
I am more suited than anyone else to be by your side and I’ll prove it at tomorrow’s festival.

** By my side? Suitable? Prove?
It seemed as if she was talking to someone else.

Belle: Eh..but...

Angelina: Of course, if it bothers you...say so...

** Her confident face suddenly fell.

Angelina: If you hate me, to not waste both our time, I’d like you to tell me now.

(I would hate Angelina-san?)
That’s impossible.
If that were true, why would we travel together?

Belle: There’s no reason for me not to agree, because I...
I like Angelina-san.

Angelina: Ah..ah..uh..uh..thank you.

** There’s something different about today’s Angelina-san. Is this the first time I’ve seen her with
such a red face?

Angelina: Uh...ok...let’s do our best tomorrow?

Belle: Yes...and for that to happen, we should practice now, right?

Angelina: Uh...yes...let’s do that.

** I didn’t know why, but Angelina-san’s vigorous manner suddenly disappeared and her reply
had no vigor.
We walked together to a shop that rents organs.

There’s something different about today’s Angelina-san. Is this the first time I’ve seen her with such a red face?

Puppet Show

The next day the group puts on a puppet show.
Angelina plays the organ while Belle tells the story.
Cero moves the puppets.
Wakaba is looking on the activity, but suddenly falls off the stage where Cero takes care of her.
Fortunately, the play is a big success.

Depending on whose scenario, you’ll have

-- Ero Scene -- (Wakaba x Cero, or Angelina x Belle)

The next day, the party is preparing to leave Vermillion for Cardinal, the capital of the Red
Kingdom. Wakaba has also convinced Tonino and Silvia to help with the play.
She will pay them of course using Rein’s sponsor money.
Wakaba gives Belle some money which is a bonus from the festival and says that everyone
agreed to buy Angelina a present and that Belle should pick it since she knows Angelina the best.

Vermillion

The party arrives in Vermillion and Angelina, Cero, and Tonino do some research in the library.

Afterwards, Belle has asked Angelina to meet her in the square where she has a present from
everyone. It turns out to be a red dress and Angelina goes to try it on.
It matches her very well and the two practice some lines from the play.

At night, Coco and Light scare everyone by having Coco dress up in a scary costume.

A suitable present

Belle's perspective

Angelina: How...how is it?

Belle: ...

Angelina: I guess...it's different than what you imagined and it doesn't suit me?

** At her words, I shook my head with all my might.
In reality, it was exactly as I imagined.
At that time, I was unsure because there was another dress that I thought suited her.
But, this one piece was definitely better.
She should be confident.

Belle: It fits you perfectly.

Angelina: ...Thank you

** Just looking at Angelina's little smile made me happy.
I wonder where this feeling comes from?

Angelina: This one piece that I wore also matches yours.
I've always worn long sleeves so I'm still not used this one yet.

** She rubbed both her arms and gave a pained smile.

Angelina: But if I move a bit, I think I'll get used to it.

** Saying that, she turned to face the square and pointed

Angelina: Shall we walk there?

** She invited me.

Belle: ...Yes.

** We walked together as usual, but somehow our pace didn't match and she went ahead.

Angelina: I'm still not used to these new shoes.

Belle: Ah?cdon't push yourself. If the shoes rub against you, it'll hurt.

Angelina: Fufufu...thank you for caring.

** We arrived at the square where one corner had no people.
Angelina-san looked like she was thinking about something and nodded a few times.
After dropping her hand from my shoulder she walked back a bit.

(What is this?)

And then, she raised both her arms and looked at the sunset.

Angelina: Schwester...do you want to fly?

** That voice...she was acting as Christina. It was a line in Wakaba's script.
And the next line-

Belle: I am an angel that cannot fly. Because, I have only one wing.

Angelina: I didn't ask if you could fly, I ask if you wanted to fly.

Belle: If I were to fly, then I would like to be like a bird dancing in the sky.

** Princess Christina looked at the sky and informed the Schwester.

Angelina: ...I want to watch you dance freely in the sky?cand also
If possible, I would like chase after you and fly from this castle.

** She would like to chase after the angel and leave this castle.

Belle: That can't happen.

Angelina: Why?

Belle: The princess is the precious head of the White Kingdom.
If you left, your retainers and people would be sad.

Angelina: ...Then I'll ask you. If you really were to dance in the sky,
what should I do, who am left behind?

Belle: That...

Angelina: Retainers, people of this country, and I are the same.
Don't you think those left behind would be sad?

Belle: ...Princess...don't worry. I won't go anywhere.

Angelina: ...Though you say that, up till now, there's been countless Schwester
who have left me.

Belle: Please believe me.

Angelina: How do you expect me to believe you?

Belle: ...I vow on this wing, that I will stay by the Princess's side.
As long as I have this one wing, I won't wish to be in the sky.

Angelina: Then...if I gave you one more wing?

** Princess Christina is asking what if she gave me freedom?

Belle: If the princess says to dance in the sky, I would happily do so.

Angelina: That's what I thought, even you...

Belle: ...And after, I would definitely return to the Princess's side.

Angelina: Why is that?

Belle: ...Even a bird that flys, loves to have a place to rest its wings.

** With my line, Angelina's face finally softened.

Angelina: ...In such a short time, you did well to remember the lines

Belle: When Angelina-san was helping Cero in the library, I memorized little by little.

Angelina: ...Is that so? You're great. No wonder you're my partner.

Belle: No way, not like a partner...

Angelina: Are you dissatisfied? If so, feel free to dance away in the sky.

Belle: Eh?

** For a second, I didn't understand what she was saying.

Angelina: A pun. It's a pun. I used a line from the act. Didn't you notice?

** Then, after the explanation, I understood it was a joke.

Angelina: Anyways...with this feeling, let's do our best.

Belle: Yes.

** We left the square and started walking.
Our hands naturally grasped each others, and because of the evening sun,
our shadows became one.
Until that moment disappeared we walked, and returned to the hotel.

I didn't ask if you could fly, I ask if you wanted to fly.

If I were to fly, then I would like to be like a bird dancing in the sky.

Back to Moosgrun

The next day, the party leaves for Moosgrun, Wakaba’s and Cero’s hometown.
It’s been a busy day with Wakaba introducing everyone to her home.

Angelina and Belle take a break to talk.

Conversation in the field

Angelina's perspective

Belle: Angelina-san, do you dislike Wakaba and Light?

An: ...Not exactly...

Belle: That's what I thought. When you were acting as a mediator between the two, you seemed
somewhat happy.
Of course you don't dislike them. Because Angelina-san is a nice person

** I really couldn't stand Belle looking at me with such trusting eyes anymore so without thinking, I
pinched Belle's cheek.

Belle: Ah...

An: See? I can be a two-faced bully like that.

Belle: Oh...you didn't have to go all this way to make your point.

An: It wasn't by accident. I mean it, really.

**...is what I said, but I couldn't make myself pinch any harder

An: Sorry...did it hurt?

Belle: It...doesn't...hurt

An: It hurt didn't it? Just be truthful.

Belle: Just a little...

** Belle held out her forefinger and another finger to form a gap meaning it hurt as much that
small gap.
But still, it was wrong of me to give her a painful memory

An: Hmm...Ok, go ahead

** To receive the same punishment I gave to Belle, I turned my cheek and thrust it towards Belle

Belle: Eh...Do you want it here?

An: Hurry up, please!

** If I keep standing here like this, I'll look like an idiot.

An: Eh???

** Belle's hair brushed my cheek, and after that I felt the touch of warm lips.
Surprised, I turned to face Belle, but she had moved away

An: Eh....Why?....

Belle: Eh? You didn't want to receive a kiss?

An: Why did it happen like that? I turned my cheek towards you so that you could pinch me back.

Belle: Oh...I didn't even think of that

An: I had pinched innocent Belle and on top of that, I even received a kiss...

**But, I still might gain some interest from an unexpected kiss.

An: Is there such a thing as a "reciprocal" kiss?

Belle: ...Yes...

** This time there was no mistaking my meaning
I gave Belle a little kiss on her forehead and quietly held her

At night, Cero does to a restaurant and tries to help Wakaba find some more actors for her play
and show around her screenplay.

「あ、あの。。。これも見てもらえますか」 - Um...could you look at this?
(―いや、これは断られたときに出すもの) - No...this is something that would get rejected

The next day, Angelina and Belle are practicing.
Wakaba introduces the new actor who will play Ein’s part and it’s none other than Fabio Grey,
Marion’s husband.

Fabio says he’s heard a lot about Angelina from Marion.

During one of the practices, Wakaba tries on Christina’s dress.
Light says for an instant he thought it was Angelina.

A kiss is the answer

Angelina's perspective

Later, Angelina and Belle are rehearsing for Wakaba's play.
Belle notices that Angelina is pushing herself to rehearse this one dancing scene 10 times so
she tries to make it easier on Angelina by standing closer to her so Angelina doesn't have
to move as far.

However, this causes Angelina to misjudge the distance between them and they crash into each
other,
resulting in Angelina falling down and injuring her foot.

Belle: Angelina-san? Did you hurt yourself just then?

An: I'm fine, I'm fine. This is nothing.

** As I tried to stand up to test my foot's condition, the result was clear.

An: Uh...

** Putting weight on my foot, I frowned.

An: I'll try to do something until the performance.

Belle: ....Let's go to the doctor.

An: That's a good idea. Let's clean up this place first though.

** We quietly cleaned the stage.

Belle: ...Angelina-san...doesn't it hurt?

An: You worry too much.

Belle: But...it's my fault.

An: ...Come on, no one is blaming you.

Belle: But, no matter how you think about it, it's my fault.

An: That's no true. I was the one who insisted on overworking.

** There's no point to arguing back and forth like this.
But, unfortunately, Belle is also stubborn at times.

There's no helping it then.
I stood next to Belle who was hanging her head and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Belle: Eh...

An: I don't like people who don't listen to reason

Belle: Even if you stay that...

An: Listen to what I say. If you don't do so, I'll never kiss you again.

Belle: No way...

An: It's fine this way. Forget the accident ever happened. And also...
You can't tell anyone else, ok?

Belle: ...

An: I'm begging you. I don't want to cause anyone else to worry

Belle: ...Ok...

An: That's a good girl.

** I gave her one more kiss and moved away.
Now, the problem is to check how bad is the sprain.

No way...

Performance

Angelina gets her foot taped up and Marion comes to visit her.
She’s looking forward to her performance.

The play is finally starting and everything is going well except at the final scene.
Angelina’s foot slips and she falls.
However Belle catches her and ad-libs some lines.

Depending on the scenario you get a slightly ending.

In Wakaba’s scenario, Cero and Wakaba hold hands while receiving applause.

In Angelina’s scenario, you get some more lines after Belle catches Angelina.

True feelings

Angelina's perspective

Belle: Princess!

**The one who supported me when I fell, was the Schwester, Belle.

Angelina: Schwester!

Belle: Please don’t say anything more.

Angelina: ...

** Could it be? For my sake, she’s ad-libbing though she’s not familiar with it?

Belle: I will stay by the Princess.
From the first time we met, my heart was with the Princess.
Under the moonlit night, when the two of us were dancing too.

** This wasn’t about Princess Christina.

Belle: You taught me, who didn’t know anything, many things.

** She’s talking about our journey.

Belle: And the time when you said we should keep continuing living like now.
No matter when, I will be by the Princess’s side.
There’s no one else by the Princess.
...The princess who won’t pass me by and stand by me though I am only one Schwester, for the
Princess’s sake...

** And the words that I said for Belle’s sake

Belle: I will choose the difficult path together.

** She summed up our time together and placed everything on the stage.

Angelina: Schw...ester

** There’s no words to reply.

Belle: Yes.

** There’s something I have to say above and beyond my role as Princess Christina.

Angelina: Thank you...I...from the bottom of my heart...

** And I said it so that the entire audience could hear me!
...But, you know, Belle.

Angelina: I love you from the bottom of my heart.

** This line, contained the feelings from my heart and is meant only for you.

Please don’t say anything more.
